Hello Pneumies!!

Has anyone attempted to visit a chiropractor after having VATS and/or talc pluerodesis? I’ve done both lungs in the last 4 years and have been scared to get chiro work done out of anxiety and PTSD with internal moving body parts. I have developed some pretty painful knots in my back accompanied with long term nerve damage and scar tissue. Just wondering if chiro work is a safe option? Lord knows we don’t want to disrupt that talc seal. I’ve been strengthening my core, stretching my hamstrings, receiving regular massages, etc with minimal to no issues. Thanks in advance for any info on personal experiences :)

Hey guys, I have an opportunity to go skiing in Colorado in a few weeks. Has anyone experienced any difficulties at the high elevation or while skiing/snowboarding? I’m a lifelong snowboarder and have not been since prior to my VATS and pleurodesis 14 months ago. Anyone’s input would be appreciated!

Looking for advice! I bought my home 2 years ago and ever since the kitchen sink has has a subtle clogging issue. I’ve taken apart and cleaned the P trap and all the PVC pipes underneath, along with many minutes spent plunging the drains. Yesterday my washing machine left about an inch of standing water inside the basket. Could these problems be related?

My bathroom sink, shower, and toilet drains all work perfectly. I’m connected to city sewer and water so no septic tank.

Hey guys, I’m about 8 months post VATS and talc pluerodesis. I’m a full time bartender which requires mask wearing for a 6-7 hour shift. Since I’ve started working again, I’ve noticed a lot of chest pain, as if I had surgery last month. Anyone else have similar experiences? I’m about to put a call into my surgeon for his insight.
