I've got a Kenmore sishwasher (13269K) that's 11 years old. The lights on the left half of the control panel have stopped working -- this would be the lights for the cycle selection and the "Washing" indicator. (The lights on the right side still work. That includes the options, the "Complete" indicator in the middle, and the "Drying" indicator to its right.) Otherwise runs normally.

Is this something I should worry about (i.e., indication of something wrong that could get worse) or just leave it be?

There's several updates to merit badges that take effect Jan 1. (Anyone that has already started work on a merit badge can continue to use the old requirements)

Here's a summary of some consequential changes:

• Swimming 5a -- you now have to float for 3 minutes with minimal movement (previously only 1 minute)
• Hiking 4,5 -- the 5 and 15 mile hikes have been replaced with a 4th 10 mile hike
• Cooking 5d -- you now have to cook all 5 planned meals and use a stove for 3, a skillet over fire coals or dutch oven for 1, and foil pack or skewers for 1
• Environmental Science 3h -- the invasive species option has been removed
• Archery 5 -- th

As part of the switch to Capital One, I opted to cash out my credit card rewards balance. I received a check for the calculated amount about 2 months ago.

Today, I received a second check with a letter saying they had miscalculated my rewards. If you opted for the check, be on the lookout for a second one.
