What tuning do y'all use?

I have been using E Standard for jazz so that I can quickly read lead sheets and know where to go.

But I need to send in one of my guitars for a small repair, so I figured I'd have it set up professionally while it's at the shop.

This is my Gretsch hollowbody, so I don't use it ONLY for jazz, but MOSTLY for jazz... so I kind of want it in E Flat Standard.

What do y'all do? I just assumed everyone was using E Standard, but I'm sure of y'all prefer something different.

I always have my 60s Harmony Rocket set up for E Standard with flat wounds, so I have a dedicated jazz archtop already. Maybe I go with E Flat for the Gretsch?

It doesn't need to be specifically archaeological, but horror where "experts" or "scientists" of some kind make a horrifying discovery.

I'm a big Lovecraft fan, so cross those off lol. I've read The Descent and really enjoyed it. It can really be any science, but I went to school for classics and so ancient history is fascinating to me. But that one Crichton book The Sphere also checks these boxes.

Anyway, I'd love to find some new spooky tales about long forgotten things.

My Aomai lighter finally ran out of flint yesterday. I've used a lot of different torch lighters, and while the Aomai is by no means perfect, it did a pretty damn good job for longer than any other torch lighter has lasted me.

So yeah. Give it a try if you're in the market.

Hey y'all. I've recently come into possession a few personal books belonging to the White family. As in, William Allen White, including some ancestors and descendants of his. These books contain notes and signatures and dates written by the White family.

They were apparently a well to do and influential family in Emporia. I figured maybe some of their kin were still around and might like their stuff.

I inherited it from my grandfather, along with some other interesting and strange items that I'm not sure how or why he possesses.
