So haven't really played any x-com games and kinda get the idea so far as my missions unfold is it possible (or what are you suggestions) to discover all the mechanics and synergies needed to enjoy this game. i'm really starting to bounce off the idea that i need to watch a lot of videos and take notes (it's starting to feel like homework), but permadeath and/or save scumming also have limitations

I'm coming back to OG Slay after completing Monster Train 1 and 2. I had cleared a Silent run and unlocked Defect and Watcher (maybe) and I'm now back and no matter what I try I just can't wrap my head around Ironclad. Maybe winning a run is so much more RNG dependent? Like I said I figured out all of Monster Train 1 and 2, but have hit a wall. Any YouTubers videos I should watch. I guess I probably haven't figured out how to really utilize exhaust I'm trying to keep a damage heavy small deck

We left about the 68th minute tonight and as we were pulling out by the Victoria Gates all the vendors started running. We couldnt tell if ICE was in the lot. Did anyone see else see this?

i have quite a library I have collected over the last 30 years and will be willing to ship at cost to those who are interested (or you can pickup in la). I have quite a few rare books i have collected, but i just really want to downsize and some go to interested parties then sitting in a random goodwill for the next 20 years.google sheets library link (dm me or comment in doc)

Is there a replacement in NELA or DTLA since the York closed?

Going through and clearing my D5's in the DLC and had one of my easiest D5 clears using brotatobuilds.com chunky guide. I never got a flamethrower and just made it work with two torches. damn that was fun (i hated clearing pre-DLC Chunky) I think i did it with the elemental weapons which took a lot of RNG to work

I really want to like this game but when I get to the final floor I always seem to have the wrong setup to finally win. Maybe I'missing something, but I'm really struggling to figure out a good build based on the RNG I'm getting along the way. Any suggestions?

I have a student who wants to start writing drumline music (for our HS drumline) and is having trouble writing all the rudiments and technical parts we play. My initial suggestion was to have him transcribe one of the written handouts he got from a drum corps audition camp. Anyway, he is having a bit of trouble and before I jump in and help him I wanted to get an idea of the learning curve for this. Over the years I have done this in both Finale and Sibelius and assume that Musescore is probably the best way to start. Thanks in advance! I have used musescore in the past for kids to rewrite parts of music they had lost, but not sure how writing for drumline is going to go.

So ordering in the Drive-Thru now is like one of those automated phone menu response trees. I had to repeat my order over and over and they still didn't get it right. it also makes it impossible to have substitutions and ask for any changes to your sandwich. At the end of the day it's the worst possible experience you could ever have in a drive-thru and I'm sure slowing everything to a crawl during lunch and dinner rush

Having a hard time getting through these and it seems like having a gadget unlocked at the start would help. Any suggestions on which one is easiest? Also assume I can't unlock anything till I complete first guild assignment? Correct?

My high school band is coming from Los Angeles to perform in the Grand Floral Parade, and we are looking for an Asian Buffet for dinner. It looks like the main choices are Kumi, Tin Tin, Hug Grill, and Makoto in Vancouver. Do you have any suggestions?

Just visited Sparta, NC fo a wedding and brought home some "country ham" that I bought at a local diner. I have had cured ham before but this was the saltiest most unpleasant and unedible thing I've ever tried to eat. Did it go bad? Was it made wrong?
