Looking to make an informed purchasing decision. Mac is all I got, unfortunately. MV always crashed. Anyone know if MZ is any different?

Inconveniently, I have no proof of this, but I’ve been editing videos off and on for various projects for about 5 years now. I am also a self taught music producer for a lot longer than that. I enjoy the editing process.

I’ve attempted to start YouTube gaming, social commentary and AMV channels in the past and because of my lack of ability to think of content, I never stuck to it and deleted the channels. Of course, that has come to haunt me as I have nothing much to show.

I am willing to provide a “trial” video. Literally, just need an opportunity.

Any format. Any style. Whatever you want.

I’m unable to actually get on the computer and check this out for myself right now.

But I’m extremely curious.

2 things :

  1. Can the player character be given a damage on touch event? I know enemy events can do damage on touch. But what about the player character?

  2. Can these damage outputs be altered depending on what weapons are equipped by either?

I’m picturing a battle system where you don’t actually go into the battle scene but all the combat takes place on the map. And damage is effectively determined by the weapons you have equipped and a random variable (dice roll).

Sometimes, I have to tend to responsibilities in the house and I have to get up and leave for a few minutes.

Doesn’t happen often but it does happen. Any suggestions to help viewers and potential viewers not stare at a pause menu?

Big detail: Im on console.

I’m a bit of a noob to Twitch so I don’t know if there are any tools that help with that. Not a huge deal if I can’t do anything about it. Just thought I’d ask.

I finished a play through of Metro 2033 redux last night. Now I’m on to finish putting all the episodes together. It’ll be the first Let’s Play series on my channel.

I’ve been releasing one episode a day. But now that I’m finished with the game, I’m fighting the urge to dump all of the episodes within a few days simply because I really want to make a video discussing my thoughts and theories on the story before I move on to the second game in the series. I guess, for the sake of getting my thoughts on the record.

Since this is my first time finishing a game for a let’s play, I’m in uncharted territory. Any thoughts on how I should handle this situation?

Thanks.

PlayStation has an equivalent (kinda) called PlayStation Now. But it doesn’t actually allow you to record footage. I don’t have a computer so there’s no work around for me. I record straight to the console.

My question is: Can I record game pass game footage to the Xbox Series X/S console?

This is a big selling point in my purchasing decision, going forward. Thanks in advance.

Edit: ANSWERED.

Hello all.

I’ve tried playing The Witcher 3, probably 6 times in the past. I’m FINALLY in a place where I’ve been willing and able to get beyond a few hours in the game. I wouldn’t say I’m hooked but I do feel compelled to play.

However, I’m at the part where the guy is asking me about past events in the story, before I meet the emperor, and I am FUGGIN’ lost. Don’t know what they’re talking about, I don’t grasp the seriousness of the answers I’m giving and really, because of that, I just don’t care.

My concern/question is, is this gonna keep happening? Am I gonna be completely in the dark like this throughout the rest of the game? Because this morning, I find my willingness to continu

YES… I botched the spelling in the title. Moving on.

This idea is not mine. It’s actually from a guy on YouTube who apparently has deleted his whole channel and the build doesn’t exist anymore.

The idea is that you only do damage with companions and your werewolf form. Your mortal hands must never spill blood.

So a basic pacifist build but with a dark/beast side. I think sounds fun but I’m curious about companions and if they’re a viable option for taking down dragons and other “bosses”.

I’d use restoration to keep companions in the fights. Illusion for smaller enemies.

My concerns mostly revolve around the viability of companions doing the big fights.
