Hello accountants ! Please do help me out with this. I just found out that there is a rent tax invoice from 2024 which I haven’t filed and the amount of vat is 14000 AED . I understand I can only claim invoices that are not more than 6 months old. Is there any exception I can make and include this invoice since it’s a big amount . Thank you

Hi even though the tickets have been sold out for round trip from Lisbon airport , I’m still unable to sell my ticket.

Should I manage my bus return time to ensure I’m able to sell it ?

For me it’s 817$ . That includes non refundable tickets , bank statement charges , visa charge , travel agency charge , events I booked for charge. Fml

im able to put my festival tickets for sale but not the bus tickets even though its mentioned in the website that I need to sell the service tickets first. help please !

Sad that i got everything ready for the festival except the visa. Time is short since i have to sell the festival ticket before 30th June to cut my loss , or try applying again but getting an appointment seems impossible. Should I risk it by applying again or just think of it as my bad luck and sell my tickets ?

Also what are the chances I’ll get the visa if really ? I’m an Indian passport holder , single male ; residing in Dubai.

They increased it last year , they’re increasing it this year too , their justification ? It’s undervalued and they’re giving the new rents for 3 bedroom at 170k these days.

The rent index clearly says no increase . I show them this and they’re least bothered. They openly say they don’t follow the RERA rent index since their apartment is undervalued. Infact they themselves insist that we can go ahead and file at RERA and say that they will fight back the case with their legal team . Now this is a govt owned property I think and I don’t know if I can go through the hassle of fighting a case against them.

What’s the point of RERA if no one follows it or feel like the RERA index has been cal

Currently im self employed and one of the requirements for the visa involves getting the trade license attested by MOFA. Now, this attensation will cost AED 2000 which adds up to the travel cost.

so my total visa costs add up to attestation 2000 + travel agency AED 1800 ( ,since getting an appointment at VFS seems impossible I have to go through an agency ) + 100 AED ( TRAVEL INSURANCE) . is it compulsory to get the trade license attested if its a local UAE company ? has anyone gotten their VISA when they submitted it without the trade license attested ?
