I tried booking a flight from NYC to Chicago on 5 different occasions, but the AA website crashes every time. I needed to make this booking so I went ahead and booked with Delta instead. Terrible experience American Airlines. Fix your website
I went to Grenada a year ago and it felt like the safest place I’ve ever visited. We went to St George, Grand Etang, Sauteurs, Grenville, and spent time in each Parrish. Everyone was nice and it felt like there was no crime.
The US state department just labeled Grenada as a level 2 travel advisory with the following warning:
Violent crime can occur anywhere in Grenada. American citizens in Grenada have been victims of armed r*bbery, ass*ult, bur*lary, and ra*e. In some cases, American citizens have been k*lled. Police response times are not as fast as one may expect in the United States.
Does it feel different now? Did something happen to cause this? Why is Grenada now considered le
I ordered a burrito bowl at Chipotle for the first time in more than a year. The total cost was $21 because I got double chicken and guac. I understand these are extra so I’m willing to accept the price. My issue is that I got 2 half scoops of chicken, an embarrassingly small amount. I asked for black and pinto beans, also miniature scoops. They were out of fajitas and said none are cooking so I need to move on. The service was rude and the portions were ridiculously small. For $21 at chipotle I should have a bowl overflowing with food - I could have gone to an actual restaurant for that amount. When I would go to chipotle 3-4 years ago, I’d pay under $10 and have enough for leftovers. Defin
I want to celebrate my anniversary by taking my girlfriend around Astoria to eat all of her favorite Greek pastries at the best bakeries. What is the best bakery for any of these desserts:
- Kataifi roll
- Baklava
- Bougatsa
- Kopehai
- Trigona panoramatos
- Halva
- Kourkoubinia
I’m planning on going to more than one, so the more recommendations you can provide, the better!
If I pay extra for main cabin, should I still expect to have to gate check my bag? I have a tight connection and am willing to pay extra to avoid gate checking my carryon. I don’t have status or anything, just a normal Aadvantage account
I got my Whoop 3 months ago, and one day the device just stopped working. It had a more than 50% charge and there was no misuse - the green lights just stopped flashing. Customer service said this happens all the time and that I'm eligible for a free replacement and an extra week free for my subscription. This was about 4 weeks ago and I still haven't received my new Whoop. They won't let me cancel my subscription for a refund or credit me additional time. I didn't have any tracker with me for a recent multi-day hiking excursion, and Whoop had "no ability to expedite my shipment". For the return, they also make you provide your own box and padding (i.e., bubble wrap) and print your own label
US Bank decided to decrease the value of all points from 1x = 1¢ to 1x = 0.75¢ without communicating this to customers. I didn’t find out until I had hundreds of dollars worth of points to redeem for a statement credit, which lost 25% of their value. They will let you get cash back at the original value only if you open a US Bank checking account, which just feels predatory and misleading from signup. While the rewards may seem generous, you have to discount them by 25% if you don’t have a US Bank checking account, which makes them a below average rewards credit card issuer, no matter which card you choose
I just made a reservation for a car rental with Avis. I am 23. The prices I saw at Avis were lower than any other car rental company I searched. I searched for the break down of taxes and fees versus the cost of the rental, but there was no information about fees whatsoever. I looked up what this meant, and concluded that the price I was shown included any fees. I was wrong. I paid with my credit card thinking that I already knew the amount, but the transaction accepted with a ton of fees that were hidden, mostly due to being a young driver. The fees ended up being 3X the price I paid for the actual rental. They hid this information from me and clearly went to great lengths to squeeze as muc
