A little while back, our students and teachers stopped being able to log in to the App Store with a personal Apple account while staying logged in to their managed account in Settings.

We have always used this option since the iPads are technically theirs, meaning they should be able to use their own apps at home, something they are unable to do now.

Jamf and Apple just point the finger at each other, which is quite frustrating.

The only solution I have seen is disabling login setup during initial setup, logging in to the App Store first, and then signing into Settings last. However, this is not a realistic option, since we would have to wipe all iPads and start over 🙄.

Has anyone found

I want to upgrade my WF-1000xm4 to 6, as my 4s are starting to have some problems. I managed to change the battery on my 4s, as these suffered from the drain problem quite a few of the 4s had. So before i spend money on the xm6s, do these have any problems with battery? And i guess also, worth it over the xm5? :)

Sorry for the probably stupid questions, but I just want to make sure the unit I was sent didn't suffer damage during shipping.

Is it normal for the compressor in a portable AC unit to give the machine a small jolt or shake when it turns on? I have never owned an AC unit before, but I had to get one with the recent heatwaves. Since it's essentially a small motor, I'm guessing this is normal?

My unit also has two plugs: one in the middle and one at the bottom. From my understanding, the middle one is for when the machine is in dehumidifier mode, and the lower one is for draining during normal operations.**My question is, do I keep the plugs in while it's running and drain it after use

I have been using foam tips for a long time now, but in the past six months or so, my ears have started to get very dry and flaky. This seems to be caused by the foam (and yes, I change them out quite regularly).

I have been trying to find some silicone tips that can match them, especially in terms of comfort and fit, but so far I've had no luck. AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal and KBear07 seem to be the closest, but I also have some Penon Liqueur Orange tips on the way from AliExpress.

I would like some recommendations :)

I’ve been FDM printing for a few years now, but recently got into playing One Page Rules and thought resin printing might be a fun new hobby to try.

So far, I’ve mainly printed pre-supported models from MyMiniFactory, which have worked out great. I bought a bigger model (a truck) that barely didn’t fit on my Mars 5 Ultra build plate. So, I decided to import the unsupported model, hollow it out, add some drain holes, and try out auto-support in Elegoo Satellite. The model printed, but the auto-generated supports left behind a horrible texture, and there’s a crack down the side.

FDM support seems much more straightforward, but I’d like to learn how to manually add supports to models. Can any

I recently purchased a HomePro sit-stand frame from Desktronic. I’m wondering if it’s okay to slide the whole assembly into place and screw it in from underneath, rather than removing everything (cables, monitors, etc.) and installing it as the manual suggests.

I’m guessing it should be fine to just slide it under, align everything, and screw it in place. I also want to remove the right Alex drawer, so I assume I can do that once everything is in place and lifted up, then extend the frame to the right.

Current setup with 2x Alex and a Karlby https://imgur.com/DuOpEoY

I should have probably asked this before buying, but wanted to know if the Desktronic HomePro will work with the Karlby top? I want to upgrade to a solid mahogany top at some point, but so far im okay using the Karlby i currently have stacked on 2 Alex Drawers .. hopefully :)

I have been reading around a bit, as my pre 2020 Ikea millberget chair is starting to peel and creak with just the slightest movement.

So far i have tried the "new* millberget chair and i do not like whatever they did to it. I have also tried the ProtoArc EC200, which also really did not suit me, the lumbar was too aggressive for me and the seat was quite uncomfortable after longer use.

I live in Denmark aka EU, so needs to be available in Europe, which quite a few suggestions i see around in this price range are not :(

I was wondering if anyone have any good recommendations in the 300$ ish price range that is purchasable in Europe.

I am just curious if anyone happen to know the bit needed for the bolts that hold on the lumbar support on the EC200? It would be a bit easier than trial and error, since its impossible to see them in the spot they are in :)

I am currently running a 3700x, b450 Tomahawk Max, 16gb of DDR4 3200 and a 2070 Super.

I was thinking about building a 9800x3d rig, but with current DDR5 prices, that is out of the question.

I have this kit that I bought quite a while back to upgrade my current ram, but I could not get it to work right in the Tomahawk Max. I got it to work after a BIOS upgrade, but then I had a host of other problems with my PC randomly shutting off, so I reverted back the bios and put in the old ram sticks.

I have 2x 144Hz 1080p monitors with no immediate plans of upgrading.

I have not looked around all that much in terms of current hardware, so would love some guidance. The
