Hey folks - I’m an engineer-turned-product manager with 8+ years in early-stage startups.
I was the first PM at a SaaS + fintech company that later raised $40M from Peak XV and Elevation.

Story so far
Last May I took a bet on myself to start up. My first idea was in personal finance - we ran user studies, built small POCs, pitched to VCs but by year-end I realised the space wasn’t sticking.
I went back to first principles, spent a couple of months deep in AI workflows and research, and in January 2025 started building toward an AI portfolio copilot.

Hey r/delhiuniversity !
I’m the founder of an AI-driven wealth-tech startup based in Bangalore, and we’re hiring a 2024/25 B.Com / Econ (Hons) / BBA graduate for a Finance & Strategy Associate role — basically, our first business hire and a key member of the founding team.

It’s been 10 years since I was a student (and in engineering at that), so I’m a bit out of touch with how to reach smart, motivated folks from DU. Would love help with:

  • Openness – Are students today open to joining early-stage startups, or is it mostly Big 4 / MNCs that people aim for?
  • Placement Cells – Which colleges move fast and are startup-friendly?
  • Student Communities – Any active WhatsApp / Telegram / Disco

After studying on and off for a few months, I started studying properly 3 weeks back and finally gave the official GMAT yesterday. And I ended up not doing well, after getting a good score on the official mocks consistently.

I feel the Quant was a bit harder, and I had trouble understanding CR & RC - I felt blank. I honestly think I fatigued myself by the time I gave the test after studying for 70 hours the week before and giving 5 mocks.

Here are my scores on the official mocks[all given under similar conditions to how I gave the official GMAT]:

  • May 22nd Practice Test 1 - 680 [Q49, V34]
  • Jun 12th Practice Test 2 - 730 [Q48, V42]
  • Jun 14th Practice Test 3 - 740 [Q49, V42\
