Random shower thought:

  • Using Warp abilities at 100% no longer downs you - instead, it causes you to take significant corruption damage relative to the peril cost of the ability

  • When you have maxed out your corruption and use a warp ability, explode like perils of the warp traditionally does

  • This corruption damage can be reduced by talents and perks

  • Create/convert some existing nodes to give bonuses at high corruption - damage, damage resistance, etc

  • Create/convert some existing nodes to give corruption resistance

Why this rework would be great for psyker:

  • It would make psyker feel a lot better to play, removing the binary life/death mechanic of Peril, which simply sucks, a

With the influx of new players I'm seeing a lot of people who are queuing for difficulties way beyond their skill range. Here is my recommended level range for each difficulty.

I have included a "minimum average team level" for my confidence in being able to complete a mission. For example, if I'm playing Malice difficulty at Trust Level 22 I can handle more of the load, but if everyone else is 15 and below I'm just going to leave the party and re-queue.

Of course, skill can vary and experienced players can push their luck but I hope this helps in general cases.

Sedition (1): [Trust Level: 0-4] - If you're new to FPS games, you can start here. Otherwise you can skip straight to the next

Some are not exact, like Axe's battle hunger scaling with armor instead of helix, but I'm giving myself half a point for these. I honestly never believed they would ever make Coup de Grace attack-counter based instead of RNG, but here we are. I guess the moral of the story is that no idea is too stupid for Dota.

I'm going to continue advocating for Tusk's snowball not requiring a target and TA's meld giving her invulnerability frames as possible talents and upgrades, I think those would be cool

P.S. I too hate the way I talked 8 years ago. That sense of wonder and excite

I've been a part of this subreddit for probably about a year now. Every time there is a post along the lines of "should I give up on trying to achieve x" I notice myself and those who try to give some positive encouragement often get downvoted.

Forgive me for my presumptions but I thought we're here to help each other improve our lives? If you want to give up on yourself that's your prerogative... don't try to convince others to do the same.

It's so exhausting fighting the negativity on this subreddit. If I'm not supposed to tell people "don't give up!" then maybe I'm in the wrong place.

When my partner and I are in missionary or doggy position, I can clearly see where to insert. However, when we try to experiment with other positions, for example (no idea what it is called) when we are each lying on our sides, holding each other pretty tightly, her legs wrapped around me, but then I end up fumbling around trying to find the hole to insert it in. Or maybe we try to shift positions and it slips out and then I can't find it again until we reset from missionary. I've encountered this type of awkward scenario many times in different positions and we usually default back to missionary or doggy but I was wondering if anybody had any tips?

With the announcement of the swag bag, the Dota community is getting an influx of returning players (including myself) that we haven't seen in years. I was wondering if we could compile a list of systemic changes that have been changed or rolled back that returning players not be aware of?

To start things off:

  • Talents - heroes get "talents" as an alternative to skill levels and attribute bonus (no longer a thing) - starting from level 10 and every 5 levels until 25, then 26,27,28,29,30, they can choose a new talent to skill up.

  • Neutral items - jungle camps drop neutral items starting from minute 7, and the drops improve by tiers every 10 minutes. there is a limit of 5 drops per tier p

Smoke grenades are a pretty essential tool in most fps. While Valorant seems to have too many I noticed that overwatch doesn't have a single one. While the pace of this game is vastly different than valorant or csgo I think a smoke grenade might be a great addition to the game as a soft counter to heroes like widow and for breaking various choke points in the game. Not everything needs to be a barrier but since that's all we have that's all we can rely on.

Adding to this, a true blind effect as opposed to the basic stun that Mccree's flashbang has might actually make for some fun plays - considering he has a dodge roll. How cool would it be if he could blind the enemy monentarily and roll b
