Looking to purchase an endurance road bike. 65 y/o male, typical ride is 25-30 miles on roads with occasional paved bike path. 2k miles per year. Not interested in gravel, but do want pedal assist. Budget is $5k, maybe up to 6 for the right bike. So many brands to consider, trying to narrow down the list. Currently riding a 2013 Trek Domane.

I have a 2013 Domane 6. Carbon w full Ultegra, rim brakes and mechanical shifting (2×10). Besides wider tires with less rolling resistance what will honestly make a difference? Not really a fan of disc brakes (more maintenance, and can be finicky). My mechanical shifting works beautifully, no issues. I'm wrestling with whether a new bike is worth it. Am I overlooking something? Outside of the normal wear and tear items and a new bottom bracket, I've spent no money on repairs, with over 11,000 miles on it.

65yo rider doing about 1800 miles per year. Typical ride is 25-30 miles... not racing/ pace line, just enjoyment.

Did invisalign for about 8 months and then had front 6 teeth veneered. Wore the retainer consistently for about 8 months Took a 6 week break while traveling Now it's painful wearing it, mainly 2 of the top teeth, one on the bottom.

Will wearing it for 6 or so hours a night while I sleep realign my teeth or do I need to wear it longer? Can the retainer be worn like the aligners... all day? Old aligners don't fit because of the veneers.

Going to be traveling internationally and will be using a data-only esim. If people text my gv number can it "forward" to email or WhatsApp even without being connected to my network (Verizon)?

Better yet would be having SMS's auto forwarded, but i don't know how to do that.

I've been riding Look delta pedals for about 20 years. Broke one today so it's replacement time. Thoughts on SPD-SL vs. Look Keo's or other type of road pedal. Is it worth going to carbon? Weight is irrelevant since I'm an older rider typically going 25-30 miles.
