In the past I have virtualised a couple of servers running the same application to a 3.5 environment and these servers ran terribly, hogging all the CPU resources several times a day while running a very intense import from SAP.

Now management have asked me to virtualise a number of these systems again, but this time to our vSphere 5.1 environment. Of course I want to prevent the same CPU hogging issues as I experienced before. What would be the best way to prevent this?

We're running vCenter server 5.0 on a server that is also used as a HP Dataprotector cell manager. Having to share the server is becoming bothersome so I want to move the vCenter server to its own VM. The vCenter server manages a cluster made up of 3 vSphere 4.1 hosts.

What would be the easiest way to get the new vCenter server to manage this cluster? I've already configured the vCenter server up to the point of having to create the cluster. I know you can link two vCenter servers together, would it be possible to join them together and then delete the old one? Or should I be looking into doing things more low level by perhaps moving the databases?

I've received some advice to create

Is it just me or does mail.app have no more support for RSS feeds in Mountain Lion? I've googled it but I can't find a mention of it being removed from this version anywhere...
