RX Safety Glasses

Safety Tips/Questions

I've been wearing ZENNI RX Safety glasses for a year or so now and the frame literally just snapped in half today.

Does anyone have good recommendations?

I'm doing stair stringers for the first time. My run cuts are not perfectly straight. When I need a really nice cut I usually use a speed square, but obviously the angle makes that a little harder and I don't have a 12" square (but I'm willing to buy one). I know I can clamp the square at the angle I need, which is the option I'm leaning towards (I have stair jigs), but I figured I would pick y'alls brain.

Just looking for good ideas here. Do I cut it short of the line and sand to the line? Plane em? Buy a $1,000 track saw and tell the wife I "needed" it.

TIL: How do I cut nice straight stair stringers?

I just got $60 Lowes cash for a big purchase. I'm really liking Klein's new tools, what do I "need". (I'm a handyman if that helps).

Tried the Stopbox

Other Equipment

Well I finally gave in to all the advertising and bought a Stopbox Pro. I really liked the idea that it doesn't have batteries.

My observations, I incorrectly assumed that there were mounting holes in the box. It seems only the wall mounted unit has those. Yes, I could just drill holes, but I'm very worried about just blowing up the plastic. Without mounting it down, 1) obviously it's very easy to just walk away with and 2) if you don't press down just right, it slides all around, despite the rubber grippers. They sell a security cable, but that only solves #1 and it's hard to find a good place to wrap the cable. I'll probably return it and get the wall mounted.

Also, I have pretty large
