I set up my tank yesterday. Soil, gravel cap, dechlor water and some spider plants clipped to rim. I also brought it up to temperature.

I dont have an lfs and my rooted plants now are delayed till Thursday.

Has anyone fone this before - will the soil be okay for 5 days submerged without rooting plants. Im guessing, given that roots take longer than 5 days to reach many pockets of soil and deliver o2, the delay should have a minimal effect.

Or should i just start again, before planting and stocking with my ridiculously expensive betta!

Hi, I had a suspected fractured rib I suffered 4 weeks ago but the pain is still present and I'm suspicious that it's something different based on the pain. I don't know how it happened exactly, I was surfing and wiped out pretty bad and all of a sudden I was in agony.

I had severe pain at the start and for about two weeks. The hospital did xrays but although they couldn't see any fractures, they said that there still could be some there. They gave me a week of pain meds and sent me on my way. When I asked if i could be muscular and if it would be worth going to a physio the doctor said there was not much point as she was fairly confident it was small fractures.

It's been 4 weeks now and

I just want to give context as my dog doesn't live with us full time, but him being there is very important to me.

I have a dog. A beautiful English pointer mix. I got the dog at 19 while still living at home. When I was 22 after a rough few personal years I moved away, I always wanted to bring him with me to the city and tried multiple times but I never felt like I could keep him safe or happy. Luckily my parents love him dearly and took care of him. He was settled at home and I did not want to upset him.

I'm mind my housemates kitten while she's away. She's happy and healthy (now at least-she was an orphan and was rescued in a bad state) She and I get along, but when she looks at me her energy is so strong. I feel it tingling on that whole side of my body. when she sleeps on me I can feel it all around me. The feeling is the same as when I am close to someone having an intensely emotional time, like for example consoling a friend of mine after a break up, it feels identical to the sensation on the side of my body she sat on. Just thought I would share anyways as its pretty crazy, im thinking now as i right it it might be some sort of healing going on

Hi - I am in the early stages of planning a koi pond with a bog/constructed wetland filtration system.

I am wondering what pump would be best suited. In a lightly stocked pond ~10,000 litres, with a wetland area of circa 6 meters squared what kind of pump rating would people generally go for? I understand wetland filters work best slowly, as opposed the the pond being turned over every hour?

Ive just been gifted a new charge 3 but it had been charging on multiple usb ports (laptop/different plugs) for hours and it will not turn on

I have been sure to connect the charger right nd it vibrates when i press the button

I have tried restarting with a long 15 sec button press and disconnect/reconnect to charger

it vibrates when I press the button but only when attached to the charger

I am new to fitbits and cannot find any more info online so I would appreciate help.
