I found myself making tons of semantic mistakes with Andrew's tests, although I found it helpful to switch between these and Dion's to keep things fresh while still drilling.

Thanks in advance for your response! Taking the test on the 9th.

save the “ackchually” shit I’m a bedroom producer

  1. Yes just a soft clipper

  2. No you can’t do it with stock plugins, no matter how many tutorials you watch where they do it with stock plugins

  3. YouTubers sell plugins that are good at processing things that are overprocessed. Plugins are overrated. Refer to #1

  4. If you find yourself looking for a quick knob twist that will “blend everything together,” or “fix it up right quick,” you’re probably overprocessing and your sounds don’t sound good together. Think about it. Otherwise, they would sound good together. Not using enhancement plugins on melodic instruments makes it easier to learn and you’ll get more out of those plugins later

One of the main problems I had getting started was with highpassing everything except my 808. I feel like that’s a common issue for obvious reasons. Anyway sometimes I find myself cutting lows out of zenology sounds even around 100hz. I know if it sounds good, it is good, blah blah blah. But the mixes aren’t necessarily thin. Just looking for others opinions on this. How often do you find yourself doing this from a production standpoint?

How are these Ken Carson/carti beats so squashed without fuckin the low end up?

I can barely soft clip my shit before I get unwanted muddiness

Anyway so there I was, gettin some poon. Mish, fakie mish, strawberry shortcake, doggy, etc. Then Nyjah walks in, presumably to ask for skateboarding lessons, and I’m just mid pound im like dawg. What’s good. And he goes, you wanna try some of this fent? I usually only sell it to children but I figured you might fuck with it and I’m all like fuck it yeah why the hell not and he was like play me in skate for the whole bag

So we start playin skate

I’m like “ladies first” and so he goes first and misses a no pop front shuv

I do a switch lazer tryna like warm up and he goes for it and falls and scorpions in front of the bad hoes Long story short I gave him 10 extra letters but he didn’t get

Hey y’all!

Really quick before we get into the meat of the post; I have about 3,200 hours of RL under my belt, and I managed to get 1700 MMR before they created SSL and the GC divisions. I’ve been playing casually ever since, on and off.

I spent quite a bit of time in this sub, and managed to get a mini-viral clip on here a few years ago; so I figured I’d come back and drop a few dimes.

THE MEAT (in no particular order)

  1. You should know exactly where your teammate is at all times. There is no room for, “well I thought he was there.” You’re just going to have to learn how to look. No substitution for information. Maybe increase your FOV? Doesn’t matter how you do it, but it’s crucial;

Hey y’all. Working through hackthebox stuff and just wondering what resources are good for learning effective SQLi, or possibly any tips or things you wish you knew earlier. I’m pretty good at the networking side of things but SQL is kicking my ass

Thanks in advance

Hello everyone!

I’ve been at it for about 2.5 years

Up until now, I never worried if any individual track “orange clipped,” knowing that it wasn’t going over 0db. Over 0db, the clipping indicator is red. Sometimes my sounds start orange clipping close to -3db, sometimes lower. I’ve also noticed my soft clipper doesn’t kick in until the sound is starting to go over 0db.

My question is, what is the meaning of the orange clipping indicator? The more detail you can provide the better. Thank you in advance!
