The platforms pay the workers the least amount they CAN get away with...

Not what they deserve, not what percentage seems fair, but what they can pay while keeping the service going, keeping the riders using the service and keeping the drivers wanting for more (making enough so they stay, desperate enough so they don't leave)

Nothing will change as long as they are operating on these margins.

Keep grinding, but also be safe and know your worth.

I know this may have been discussed before but I have to ask about what happened.

I am a new driver , yesterday I accepted a ride for a certain amount, soon as I matched I got a notification "Rider modified the trip"

I looked at the destination and the trip timeline briefly and I see no change, I look and I see no additional stops as well, but after I pick them up I see "heading to first stop"

I don't mind because it's a brief stop on the way, but why I got not even 1 cent increase in payment for having to change my course and delay anyway?

Is that even allowed or does Uber hide it until we accept?

I'm a new Uber driver and had a situation I'm not sure about.

I dropped off a pax in the Harrisburg/MDT area and accepted another ping shortly afterward. Uber's navigation routed me onto the PA Turnpike to get to the pickup. The rider was not in my car yet—I was still en route to the pickup.

I drive my own car and don't have an E-ZPass transponder, so I'll be billed through Toll By Plate.

My questions are:

  • Will Uber reimburse or credit that toll since the app routed me onto the Turnpike before the trip started?
  • Has anyone successfully gotten reimbursed for a pre-pickup toll?
  • If not, do most drivers just avoid toll roads while heading to pickups, even if it increases the ETA?

We understand that in the default game maps, the fields are pre-defined and their coordinates are explicitly stored in the map files.

1- Is this assumption correct?

2- If so, when new field land is created between existing fields, does this cause them to merge into a single field from the perspective of AI and GPS systems?

I went to Walmart on the 24th and bought the Moto g stylus with the $45 plan promotion. Paid $60 for the plan + phone tax.

I left and unboxed the phone which already had the SIM card inserted.

The agent at the Walmart said it might take up to 2 hours to activate the phone.

Now it's almost 48 hours and no change.

I contacted straight talk customer service and they kept asking for a plan service card. I told them all I got was a regular Walmart receipt, and a POS sales receipt that only contains an order number.

They said they won't be able to help me unless I provide the service card number or buy a new service card.

Same thing happens when trying to activate online.

as the title said, how does the AI decide to buy equipment?

is it only based on their need and the cost? or does AI consider the equipment stats as well?

When Rick Prime drops the giant Diane head robot to the fighting Ricks, the sentences she says are kind of troubling, I don't remember the exact words she said.

I know Rick Prime was playing mind games with the scripted insults, but this is Rick Prime here, he is a genius even when trying to be hurtful, he wouldn't just make robot Diane say just anything, it has to be personal and demeaning.

So I think that in the end Diane Prime was able to hurt and insult or at least be toxic to her Rick.

Of course this doesn't have to be the reason he used the device "too cool for a name" on her, but it might have motivated him to go on with it.

I have rewatched the show multiple times.

The first time, Gilfoyle's loud alert for Bitcoin price was a fun concept for his character.

But the progress of the show within the next episodes shows him to be almost an expert in digital currency related knowledge.

So it makes even less sense that he would need an alert to decide on whether to momentarily toggle his mining rig on or off.

TLDR; deploy units should not start with 0 organization.

I was playing a long single player game.

Using mods that I made which gave me a few advantages amongst other things.

Built a decent industry.

Enough equipment.

High level Generals.

Then it was time that Germany justified on me and was ready to attack me.

The thing is, they were too afraid to attack me due to the relative strength difference!

I had to delete my army on the border so they would declare on me.

The plan was as follows: As soon as they declared, I deployed the queue in training.

They have been trained to green III (RT56), so you would think that the enemy would need a few hours to reach them coming out of the

Rick knew what Mr Frundles is capable of.

Rick most certainly is smart enough that he is contingency plans for Mr Frundles's escape.

All Rick did was warn Jerry not to open the cage for Mr Frundles!

Rick could have easily altered the cage with smart locks or something!

Rick could certainly "Freeze time" and save Jerry and the planet before it became Mr Frundles.

Rick Sanchez C-137 certainly had many tricks under his sleeve, but he choose not to act.

Most likely he did not care enough at the moment to spare any effort to save that planet.

Rick Sanchez C-137 doomed that planet by his indifference!

When Rick shot himself in the late seasons in the Jerricky episode, the garage did a good job at reviving his "body".

But when he and Morty were tightening the screws a little bit too much, they just exploded and were easily replaced with Rick C137 and Morty prime.

Same goes for the Parmeeeesian dimension.

We know that most Ricks have project Phoenix. Which makes finding a world to move into so much harder.

So it's either Rick upgrades the garage for post-mortem protocols AFTER he moves in, or the writers just ignore this point when it complicates things.

Rick does not mess with time travel stuff. The new device known to inferior Ricks as " The Omega Device" wipes someone across all realities - wherever that person already exists - and can be used multiple times. Diane was wiped out from existence the first time the Omega Device was used many years ago... We have seen many different timelines and universes, and you know where I am going with this... Diane could still exist in a different timeline where she was born AFTER Rick Prime used the device. Question is: Now that Rick Prime is no more, if Rick found a universe where Diane is born after the Omega Device was used, and her Rick died recently, Would it be ethical for Rick to step in, take

Every time Rick needs to switch to a new universe, he has to manually filter for planets with specific criteria and usually the results are too few and not ideal.

If There is an infinite number of universes, Then there is an infinite number of planets that are exactly the same as the planet he is in, all he had to do was to find an exact replica of the planet and he would find many.

Spoiler:

The way they display it is better on a comedy show perspective, but they didn't really have to go extreme and move to a planet that calls it Parmeeeesian!

What do you think?!
