I finally found a fix after trying everything.

Even if you're already using the correct SIM and mobile data, BHIM may still show:

  • "Unable to onboard you at this time"
  • "Kindly use the mobile data of the mobile number being used for onboarding"

Here's what worked for me:

  1. Close the BHIM app.
  2. Clear the app's data.
  3. Open the Play Store.
  4. Tap your profile picture (top right).
  5. Go to Play Protect.
  6. Turn Play Protect ON.
  7. Open the BHIM app again and complete the onboarding/login.

Once you've successfully logged in, you can turn Play Protect OFF again if you normally keep it disabled.

Hope this saves someone a few hours of frustration!

I'm stuck

Got a joining letter for a Centre Govt contractual job. It's only for 1 year(extension isn't guaranteed), pays ₹60k consolidated in Delhi

I'm gonna be 25 this October

the thing is, I've been preparing for banking exams and that's what I actually want in the long run because of the stability

should I join this job and prepare alongside or skip it and focus completely on banking?

i'm scared that if I join, I won't get enough time to study. but at the same time, leaving a ₹60k govt job without having a bank job in hand also feels stupid

what would you guys do if you were in my place?
