I was trying to transition over to Linux, but my personal laptop is also my work laptop. I've got everything working under Fedora KDE, with the only exception being ScreenConnect. I use the Screen Connect portal to find the client's PC I want to remote to, it opens up no problem, but the one thing that doesn't work for me is elevation.

When I click to install, I get a prompt on the client's screen, "Request elevation." We can click that, and on Windows, I get a small banner at the top of MY screen that has the "approve" command. On Fedora, that little Approve banner never shows up.

Is this a known issue? Any way to fix it? Does this work on some distros but not others? This is re

I'm looking for a sanity check. I got an f150 on auction and it's been pretty great for almost a year. I don't drive it very often to be honest as it's our secondary vehicle.

The other day I went to run an errand, and it just wouldn't start. It has power, the headlights are nice and bright, the windows roll up and down. When I put the key in, I get the normal start chiming, but when I go to crank it, just nothing happens. I can hear some kind of relay in the passenger side fuse panel doing a soft click. It doesn't seem the key is bad as I've also tried the second key.

Strange request here, I know. I just found this subreddit, so I just thought I'd ask. Does anyone have a case that would fit an HP z2 g5 SFF PC? I hate that HP is still using their stupid proprietary Motherboards. I've got one of these PCs extra laying around and was wanting to build a server out of it. There's just not enough room natively to fit a bunch of HDDs in it, so I was considering building my own case. I'd hate to reinvent the wheel here if there was an easier way to get the files for the case.

Say I'm trying to run a Windows Server, and I want the server to take care of ALL dhcp traffic on the network. I currently have some computers that are connected to the server's AD, and some that are not. They all see the hardwired domain name when you hover over the network icon.

Hey all, I just found out about this project and was excited to try it out. Reading the install guide, I grabbed my USB and an old Dell latitude to test it out on. Grabbed the available image based on bullseye, burned it to the USB and tried imaging. I went through all the prompts, and it finishes, but it's just not working now.

First thing I noticed is that when my USB boots, I don't get the yunohost splash screen, it's just a generic grub where I can install through the graphic interface. Hey all, title basically says it all. I've got an HP desktop that won't boot. I had re imaged the PC with Windows 11, then ran windows updates. One of the updates was a Firmware update, which seems to have bricked my PC. Whenever I go to boot, I get met with a screen that says bios update failed, and it just restarts to the same thing.

I've created the HP bios recovery USB with the most recent version of my Bios. Putting the Usb in and holding the Win+B buttons gives me a prompt that says "The bios recovery files cannot be found or the files are corrupted."

I've been trying to google this, but I'm afraid I'm not able to accurately describe what I want to do in a simple google search.

Here's the scenario: I've got a PC set to auto start and auto login and automatically startup a browser with a specific Google Slides presentation. That stuff is all working no problem. BUT, the presentation is shown in a browser window that is not full screen.

I'm looking for a way for me to maximize the browser so many minutes after the computer restarts. So something like, the PC boots and auto logs in and launches the presentation...than after a minute or so it auto pressed F11 to maximize the window. Is there a simple way to do this in Win

I've somehow found my way into being the admin for my church's Google Workspace for Non-profits and the question came up, are we able to replace www.remind.com with some kind of equivalent solution. Our pastor uses the service to send daily prayers to our congregation, and if we had some kind of solution that would work within the google workspace, that would be awesome.

My doc put me on Terbinafine for the fungus I've had for 15+years.

I'm on my last few days of medicine after taking it for 3 months. Pretty much all my toes looks pretty clear, except for my big toes that still have a few mm of obvious fungus. Is this a concern? Do ALL my toes have to be completely clear before it's safe to say I'm done? is there a chance that the fungus will work it's way back to my nail bed if I finish the medication and still have a little infected nail?

EDIT 10.08.2022 - So I have managed to fix my issue. On my dedicated server, I removed the -crossplay part of my server bat file.

I also deleted these mods:

-YperitePolearms

-UseEquipmentInWater

-CustomizedBronze

OdinShip

Not sure if any of these mods were causing a problem or if it was the crossplay, but I was able to play last night without a problem. Thanks to u/MayaOmkara for helping!
