I am looking to move away from DJI drones but would still like to use my DJI n3 goggles. I have a license and can go over 250grams when I am in the correct airspace.

Right now I am looking at the Flywoo Explorer LR 4 V2 O4 Wide.

I have zero issues with soldering and have a 3D printer capable of printing LW-ASA and TPU.

Am I looking at the right drone? or should i be looking at something else?

Finding mixed results on how loud this switch is and was hoping to hear back from your guys that actually live with it day to day.

Initially I will be Powering my two U7 Pro XG's along with a CloudKey+. One SFP+ 10G DAC to my firewall and the 10G DAC to my server. 2 more Cameras will be added, cables have been run, just need to buy them.

1 copper 10G and the remainder a mix of 1 and 2.5GB links

So from my understanding, its a Jet engine on the initial startup, and after 10ish mins it settles down. But how close to silent is this settled down?

Thanks

The numbers google shows in Device Health and Support are not good at all. I did some testing, the larger the claimed charge speed, the further from reality it got. All testing was done between 40-60 Battery% See here:

  • PD2.0 charger: Google : 20Watts vs Meter : 18.99W
  • PD3.0 charger: Google : 46watts vs Meter : 33.24W
  • Google 45W charger: Google : 46watts vs Meter : 32.79W
  • Pixel Snap Qi2.2 Charger + Google 45 charger : Google : 30W vs 14.97 Meter

So not only do we know 30Watts is not possible from Qi2.2's 25W max, it looks like Qi 2.0 speed if we could assume 100% efficiency. But in reality 70-95% is realistic. I tested with and without a case and Ringke Onyx Magnetic case made no

I hold onto my phone's much longer than most and came from a OnePlus 8 Pro and upgrading to the lastest pixel has been a demonstration in mediocrity. I expected way more upgrading my 5 year old phone.

No I didn't watch the marketing launch video. I picked this phone solely on length of security updates ) not wanting to dick around with custom ROMS anymore / TSMC made SOC. I'm more or less looking for a phone that just works.

Overall it's pretty much the same as a 5 year old phone. Camera is a nice upgrade and the screen works better outside. Qi 2 with the magnet snapping in place also works better now and makes wireless charging much more useable. Palm figured it out 20 years ago, why di

Moved this past fall and am looking to upgrade the sprinkler controller. House came with a Rain Bird ESP-4TM controller, and would like to replace it with a 4 zone controller I can use Home Assistant with.

The option to monitor the ground moisture would be nice, but not a requirement as based on the weather reports of if we have rain or not should be good enough I think.

Thanks

I keep seeing post after post stating tariffs and its spreading misinformation. No import tariffs are applied to any hardware entering Canada.

Our hardware typically ships directly from source to Canada. The odd time it comes via USA, tariffs are still not applied provided its not being resold from an American importer.

If the prices go up, its price gouging as zero tariffs are being applied.

I am kind of at a loss here trying to understand why I cant seem to find anything using 850/900Mhz. From my understanding Zigbee/Thread/Matter should all support that range, but none of the products do. For some reason they are all 2.4Ghz.

The entire Matter over Wifi has me really confused, it seems completely pointless. That entire concept seems to be missing the point of why we would want to have LESS devices on WiFi. Then looking at Matter over thread, and its still using 2.4Ghz. I am still going to be dealing with interference and more noise on my 2.4Ghz spectrum. Why is 850/900 not the standard frequency being used when on paper at least it is supported.

So that brings me to Z-wa

New house, new network.... So looking to build a new network and am having a hard time figuring out what 2.5G switch I should go for.

In the past I have been typically been using Netgear Prosafe switches, but they not longer seem to have anything competitive. So as that leaves me looking at alternatives.

First i was looking at Ubiquity, and they 2.5G switches are very expensive for the lack of 2.5G ports you seems to get with the Pro Max 16 PoE. I would need to jump up to the Pro Max 24 PoE to cover my 2.5G port needs. I dont get what they are doing, seems like they are more focused on looks with lighting right now than actually 2.5G ports.

Looking around I have found the TP-Link Oma
