…is not for the weak! Not that anyone here would fall into that category being EPers!
So much more to pack. Trying to account for bottles babe will need to drink during travel.
Then during the flight I realized one bottle completely leaked out into the bag (all 4oz!) so I need to pump his next bottle then.
I had the s9 with me and wore a pumping bra so all good despite being solo and holding sleeping child.
Then we get to my family’s house and I realize I left my main spectra power cord at home! Ugh the travel pump takes so long. But I’m still providing for babe and if needed, we would run to the store for formula. I love my little man and know he’s enjoying the antibodies I can prov
Anyone started planning a babymoon trip? I thought this would be a great place to invest some energy while I’m sitting on the couch tired, but I keep getting stuck! In my mind the best dates will be Nov - Dec but then that’s the holidays and flight prices can be all over the place! My husband and I enjoy traveling but I’m stuck on location too. The simplest choice seems to be a Caribbean cruise (we’ve done many of these before and they’d be familiar to us) but I feel like it should be bigger than that!
I’ve never had this hard of a time picking a trip destination. So help me with any ideas this group is thinking through!!
Just wanted to post to keep the balance between “Out offer was accepted/we got the keys” posts and the “Theowing in the towel posts”. We just lost out on our fourth offer…we try to joke and say we go through the five stages of grief weekly now. But it’s truly taxing!
1st offer (our unicorn home!): outbid by $5k and winning offer had $15k appraisal guarantee. Our realtor stayed in touch as it sounded like the other buyer was giving them grief, but alas, their sale went through.
2nd offer: They liked our offer but a cash offer came in, which almost always wins out.
3rd offer: House was underpriced, viewed 172 times in 4 days and had 30 other offers.
4th offer: We came in with our strong
Hi lovely people of Weddit! I recently changed my name after our wedding in June. I had previously received the COVID vaccine in the spring so my card shows my maiden name.
I have upcoming travel on a cruise where they’re strict about the vaccine card matching your official documents.
Has anyone had experience updating their vaccine card to a new name? I’m in Illinois specifically if it helps.

The county we’re getting married in is only doing wedding licenses online. I go to apply today and sign up for an appointment...
There are no appointments available for our June 19 wedding!!!
Ugh I reached out via email to see what we can do but now I have to wait the whole (holiday) weekend to hear back!
Just needed to vent because I don’t want to stress out anyone around me/I feel dumb!
After not wearing any uncomfortable heels for the past year+, I’m planning on wearing some darling Vans sneakers (similar to the Kate Spade Keds) on my wedding day to maximize comfort.
Any no-show sock recommendations? I feel like the off-brand socks I have found in my drawer don’t fit right, like the heel pokes out too high and the rest falls down.
TIA!
