Popular post was made (not by me) in r/funny. I believe this is a community made for people wanting to have a laugh. Comments under a massively upvoted post were (1) whining about how it isn't r slash funny. I responded to multiple of these comments with my own comment of (2) "chill". I think that this is an acceptable response. The fact that I responded with comment (2) to multiple people expressing, essentially, comment (1) should not be grounds for a permanent ban. I'll accept a temporary ban with a warning to not repost a message, but an immediate permanent ban is crossing the line. I think that should be obvious.

Restarted the pod on YouTube. Disappointed to find early episodes re-recorded with Aarons more masturbatory tone and style. Not to mention ads. Can we still get the originals somewhere?

Hello hello. So this isn't exactly "piracy" but it's in the ballpark and I figure this is the best community to ask. Up until recently, I had YouTube Premium using an account based in Argentina (like $3 a month instead of $20). I set this up using a VPN and gmail account based in the country. Was working great but my payment was declined for this month and it won't let me use any of my Visas to re-up.

Just wondering if anybody here knew of a workaround. (btw I use Premium instead of Vanced or adblock because I like to fall asleep to Youtube on my smart tv)

Sure you might hear about things if they're controversial like Chappelle's last gig, but other than that who knows? I don't really remember seeing news about Tom Segura's or Bill Burr's last specials and they are huge. I generally would find out from browsing Netflix or getting an email from them. I need a new outlet so that I can find alternative ways of watching when they release.

I'm talking about RPGs for the most part. Having multiple options of people to use and keep track of takes me out of the game. I'm no longer the hero, I'm just controlling the hero and a few other people - like a puppet show.

I don't think it adds complexity. I don't think it adds fun. I think it subtracts from the story and attachment to the experience and the character.

Some recent(ish) examples would be Genshin Impact, Knights of the Old Republic (I just got it on Switch), Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Older games I've been putting off solely because of the party aspect would be FFVII, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound.

I just want to be one person. No need for clutter.
