I'm sorry that it has taken me a while to get around to addressing the no "is this a wolf dog?" posts rule.

I have contemplated it a bit and decided that the best way to handle it instead of a blanket ban is to require all of those posts to be in a weekly megathread. That thread will be refreshed automatically weekly and will be posted on Friday Evenings. The first will go live in about 30 minutes.

In addition to this, I have added post flairs to the subreddit and required flair for all new posts.

Finally, there is a new rule "No pictures of animals that are now your own or without owner consent". This means that you can only post pictures of your own dogs or dogs that you have explici

The only way to definitively determine wolf content is with a dna test.

Full grown dogs (2+ years old) can be phenotyped but even that is not a high degree of accuracy.

Puppies cannot be phenotyped. Behavior does not indicate content.

And to the person that posted a picture of a cat… you were the straw that broke the camels back on this one.

There is far too much of this going on right now. Someone just posted a cat asking that. I realize that was a joke, but it was uncalled for.

If you want to know if your animal is a wolfdog, do a DNA test. Full grown adults can be phenotyped, but even that is not fool proof.

Dogs under the age of 2 years can not be phenotyped with any degree of accuracy.

Behavior and habits are NOT something that can indicate wolf content.

And for those unaware, phenotyping is an analysis of wolf-like characteristics within the observable characteristics of an organism, determined by the interaction of its genotype (genetic makeup) and its environment.

Basically a phenotype is trying to determine wo

Help with circuits

Space Age Question

So this run, I’ve decided I’m going to build everything from scratch and not use anyone else’s blueprints.

I’m trying to build a circuit to handle part of my solid fuel production but I can’t figure it out. Here is what I want:

  • Monitor the amount of light and heavy oil in a single tank.
  • if there is over 15k in one tank, and it has more than the other tank, use that one. (20k light oil and 15k heavy, make solid fuel from light).
  • this would turn on the pump to use the selected material and set the recipe on the chem plants.

For the most part I’ve got that working. Here is the problem:

  • once one raw material is selected, I want it to drain a bit under the threshold. So if I have

I have a 2017 Audi A3, 2.0L TFSI, FWD with 76k miles.

Earlier this week I was parked at a restaurant waiting for my curbside food pickup. The car started idling rough and died. Starting it back up took a bit of cranking time to come to life. Since then I have experienced a gamut of issues.

  • Random brief (sub second) drops in power while driving.
  • Occasional full power drops for 10-15 seconds before returning.
  • Occasional warning that Auto Stop/Start is unavailable
  • Intermittent CEL. I was finally able to scan it with the CEL being illuminated.
    • P0301 - Single cylinder combustion misfire, Cylinder 1
    • P0172 - System too rich (bank 1).
  • After drives of 15+ mins, when turn
