So the general consensus is that is Nintendo were to increase the price of the console, it would be that the standard console price would raise from $449.99 to $499.99.

If by somehow Nintendo were to prevent this from happening, and remain at $449.99. Would this create some sale frenzy? Or would sales remain steady as they are today?

Also, let’s say they have no choice and go thru with the price increase. But at that time big hitter software may be arriving soon (Mario 3d, Zelda title, other IP).

In my opinion if there is high tier software, the $50 increase in hardware wont have such a horrible impact on sales as we may think

In the future once people tear away at the OS, could the hardware itself handle a GameCube emulator?? I mean once WiFi is added to the console, and other Bluetooth controller support added, what’s the highest potential of this system?

I absolutely love rogue squadron, and never got into the lesser Battle for Naboo… but with the increased frame rate and the 8bitdo controller… Battle for Naboo is an awesome title!! Didn’t know if anyone has tried it yet
