Hello r/creditcards,
I've been using a Petal 2 credit card that has served me pretty well throughout the past 4 years. It has given 1.5% cashback, and has not charged me any annual fees. I'm looking to jump to a better card since petal was my first card and my credit score has increased to the 760 range. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good cashback card without any fees, or one that offers free streaming services? Oh, and I commute a lot so any high gas cashback cards would also be great. Thanks!
TL;DR: In this market is it worth spending more of my take-home on renting a nicer place?
Context: I'm 22, make 54K a year post-taxes, have a paid off car, 15K in retirement, 6K emergency fund (still building-up), 3K in investments and no debt. My apartment's rent will be increasing from $1,300 to $1,425 a month if I renew my lease.
I'm thinking about moving because for the same price ($1,436 without utilities) I could be getting a much nicer apartment in a better far better area with an in-unit washer/ drier, granite countertops, bigger kitchen, nicer exterior etc. Not to mention my current apartment is on the first floor, at the entrance to the complex where there is a decent amount of n
I watched the 2010 film the Black Swan with Natalie Portman, and it was the best drama I've ever seen. I'm also a huge fan of Shakespeare's tragedies (Othello, R+J, Hamlet, Macbeth etc.). Does anyone have any recommendations for any dark dramas that fit what I'm looking for? Thank you!!!
I'm extremely frustrated, and about to drop Visible after being a loyal customer for over a year. I updated my phone XS to iOS 16 three days ago, and have since not received any service, despite having full signal bars. Whenever I try making a call, I get a message from Verizon stating, "we are unable to verify your account, dial #8899 or contact your carrier". #8899 doesn't do anything, and I've been waiting in a queue for well over four hours without being able to get hold of anyone. I don't usually get a lot of texts, but I haven't received anything for over three days, and none of my friends can contact me. I've followed every troubleshooting tip from Visible's automated help bot, and re
It's too bad the car dealership industry is so scummy. Why can't a car buying experience be an enjoyable one, free from high pressure tactics and extreme manipulation? When I go to a sit-down reasturant, I order a meal, enjoy the food and leave. I'm not manuplated the whole time on a physcological level to make the restuarant owner filthy rich. I've looked at a dozen different cars in the last year and I swear every dealership attempts to hide mark ups, their used cars are poorly maintanined and have issues, and they shove blatantly obvious sales tactics down my throat the entire time. I hear a timing chain tick- and they say it's "normal". Wheel bearings humming louder than the engine- "oh,
Hey all!
A while back I sold my 100 LC because, well I saw a shiny 4Runner that I really liked (at the time)- and I've regretted my decision every day since then. I really want to get back into Land Cruisers, but they are priced too far out of my range- this is the only sub 9K example in my area in the past 4 months. I stumbled upon this beat-up beaut and was wondering what you guys thought. Should I go for it if I can pick her up for $4,000?
A couple pics from the posting:
I'm not a huge fan of the tires or bumper
