I'm subscribed to a couple of the popular NYC events newsletters (The Skint, etc.) but found them kind of overwhelming — and it's hard to tell what an event is actually about and whether I'd like it.

Takes me maybe 30 min to an hour to scroll, read, understand, and decide on an event.

Is there a more efficient way? Something that's actually more filtered / curated instead of just a big list?
