Call it The American Sanity Debate.

It feels more accurate in most cases when I'm arguing, and in many ways is. The violence we use to "make a peaceful society" is not something that is controllable and we fool ourselves believing we can chain state violence and guide it wisely. It is in fact like calling on leviathan to do the work we don't want to do personally. I think Hobbs catalogs this concept perfectly.
I realized if I were to buy this shit bucket house in cash I'd own it free and clear. I could pay my mortgage in repairs to the home. Over the course of a year I could do close to $20,000 dollars worth of repair. That's a new foundation year 1!
Sure it would fuck up my commute and everything, but I'd never have to worry about if I lost my job where I would sleep again. I can't get the idea that I've done everything financially all wrong out of my head.
You have to hand it to the DIY community out there, they certainly know how to make life amusing
instructables.com/id/Luxury-Shower-Under-60/I would like to start my second company soon, but I'm having a lot of trouble choosing a field to work within. I feel confident that I could do a number of different businesses successfully but I'm having a lot of trouble focusing on one. There are a few companies in my head jumping up and down and I'm not wild about any of them. I am curious how other people dealt with this problem?
I've got a lot of pipes that are not properly secured in the everywhere section of my basement. I'd like to start securing them and don't really want to waste everyone's time with what I consider to be a fairly simple--? plumbing task I can manage well. Anyone have any good directions for this?
Pipes include lots of standard sized copper piping, a few hydronic heating pipes, a few cement facing pipes, etc.
So I have this 1 by 3.5" trim piece of board I just ripped and I need to notch out a little bit 1/8" deep by like 2 and 3/4" wide by the whole 7' board or so or so to get it to fit in place around the door frame with some raised plaster around the outside. Helpful illustration: http://imgur.com/BoyJwhi I could use a table saw to do this I guess but I don't feel wonderfully comfortable pushing a board through that close to the blade on my cheepy table saw. I don't know if that's really the best way to do this or not? Do they make a router bit that could do this better? or maybe should I slowly back the fence off and keep running the board down the channel? Should I place the uncut board betw
We have an old sanitary drain which obviously was once outfitted with a toilet in the basement. We have it plugged presently as there's not a toilet on it, but I'd like to add a basement toilet to it if possible just so our one toilet house has a backup. I had assumed that I'd need to cut out the cement around the flange and refit a new flange to the sanitary line in order to add a toilet and so I back-burnered the whole idea.
But when we had a plumber by to look at our mega-danger water heater setup, and when I mentioned the old shit hole he said, "It looks like you can just throw a toilet on there and it'll work." I have my doubts about if this is possible and or advisable see juicy flan
But without Laws and the government there will be Ugly people litterally EVERYWHERE
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ugly_lawAnyone Read Kunstler? I found this article "Burning down the house" a particularly neat dissection of global power. Bad conclusion, but otherwise a good read. Thoughts?
kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/forecast-2014...What are some resources for a good place to start?
The house is a 1928 home so its far from "plumb," "level," or precisely "rectangular." Do architects measure angles in addition to dimensions? or are architectural drawings more general suggestions intended to have a little slop from what is actually built? Do you start from one corner and build the drawing out? Generally I don't quite know where to start.
I never got chance to play it and was wondering where it lives now?
