Getting older has never really phased me much, I just take it in my stride. That being said, I am only 33. Anyway. The challenges that come with it ive always been pretty 'meh' about, its just life. That was until 5 minutes ago.

Men, I sit here with you, now from my throne I leave you this message. Today, I have no work, so I have a long lie, steady yourselves. I get up and go to the bathroom for a piss. Im mid stream of a full bladder, AHA! A fart wants to escape, wait. Shit, thats not a fart, shit thats a shit. Panicking, I reach behind in the vane hope of being able to stop the cataclysmic brown torpedo vacating the tube. Im still flowing at this point, panicking, I try to push to make

What's the deal with this? Why are they not being dealt with accordingly? Theres at least 20 living in the house, stealing motorbikes, dealing drugs, place is full of young boys and burds with black eyes. They threaten anyone walking past. Last week I witnessed them on a stolen motorbike going right through the lollypop man who was helping kids and parents with buggies across the road. Then wheelying up the road almost knocking over children again.

I've spoken with multiple people from the area, every one of them have said they have complained to the council and the police but nothing is happening. Its only a matter of time before these fucking reprobates kill someone.

I would like to find out more about my ancestry, and their roles in both world wars. I know i had a few ancestors in both, some made it home, some unfortunately didn't. But when I was hearing these stories I was just a kid.

Now id like to do a bit of digging around myself to understand a bit more. But cant afford to do the ancestry dna thingy. Where else could I find information?

If it helps, my family name expands from Glasgow to Edinburgh and Fife. Born and bred on Scottish soil.

Cheers!

Looking for some suggestions. Id like to make some changes in my life, stopping smoking and getting healthy (mentally and physically) are top of my list. I dont really cope with huge crowds, so ideally a gym that is open late or has quiet times throughout the day, and won't break the bank each month. I've seen The Gym at Meadowbank, is this place any good?

Was travelling A89 towards the airport between 2100 - 2145. Could see a few flights taking off but the last two maintained low altitude which i thought was odd. Then 2mins later there was a bright red light breaking through the clouds, itd flash, pause, flash, only with a red light. Did anyone else witness this? I had my kid in the car who also seen it, we pulled into McDonald's but by then it had gone.

So, over the last few months I've been getting serious pain in the downstairs department (M 30s) and the doctors are baffled. I've had bloods taken, urine samples etc, and nothing comes back with what this could be. I had to get myself to out of hours last weekend as the pain was so bad I could barely walk.

The doctor I seen here suspected I have nerve damage on my L1? Spine. And sciatic nerve. So prescribed me with amitryptaline 10mg for a fortnight then increase to 20mg.

Im wondering if there is anyone else out there with similar experiences? How its being handled or how you manage your day to days?

Im interested in taking the plunge but have a anxiety about being in open water. Im wondering if there are any places around Edinburgh that do ice baths? I know there is polar bears baths in glasgow, would be amazing if there was one or similar through here.

Looking for advice. Im in my early 30s, and worked in hospitality for most of it. Im sick of it. I need a major change. I have quite an interest in butchery, but obviously getting on that ladder with my age would probably prove difficult.

Is it possible with personal knowledge and what ive picked up from kitchen staff in hospitality?

I used to be fine on planes, but the last 3-4 times ive been nervous as hell. No idea what has caused the change, but it's becoming an issue as we have young kids who enjoy holidays abroad, i don't want to ruin their happiness.

How do you manage it?
