What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

Primary used for playing AAA games. Recently I picked up Division 2 and I can't get 60fps on medium settings. Looking to boost that.

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

USD$2000

When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

In the next week or two.

What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

CPU, Mobo, RAM, GFX, M2 SSD, cooling, tow

I have Sonarr, Sabnzbd, and Plex and all of them are saying that there are updates available but they haven't been released to FreeNAS plugins and it's been a few weeks. Why does it take so long for updates to come out? /Are/ they coming out? How can I learn how to update these plugins myself? I'm a software engineer so if it's technical that's okay - I just want the latest versions.

As per the title, given the current Warlock shortage in my BG I think it's high time hunters got to do something more. I thought a summon-like ability that instead sends a raven to pick up the player would be cool. My alt is a hunter and it'd make life a lot easier in PUGs. :)

Anyone else got any ideas for other classes?

Finally the Yoga is available for order. Woo. LTE is a killer add for me but OLED is ... OLED. Anyone know why these two options are mutually exclusive? I've been waiting this long already and I hope it's only temporary.

I'm trying to setup a storage pool on Windows Server 2016 and I'm having some problems with the drives. No matter how I configure them, Windows seems to not be able to write to them fast enough causing what I think is a write-buffer to fill up in memory. Once it hits some limit the transfer speeds drop and the entire thing stalls.

Can anyone help me understand this behaviour? If it's unable to write to the drives fast enough, why is the transfer speed [into the buffer] exceeding the rate that the buffer can be written out to disk? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I have a server with three physical NICs (LAN, WAN, and MGMT). I'd like to have the host OS as Server2016 and run pfSense in a guest VM as the router.

See: http://imgur.com/a/FQSza

My question is, the Host OS obviously has to see both physical NICs but I don't want it to interact with Red-1 because it's untrusted. Its internet traffic should also go through the pfSense router VM.

That means, when the server boots up, the HostOS wouldn't get an IP until the guest VM starts and is able to give it an IP using DHCP.

I can obviously configure this using virtual switches but I'm unclear about the Host OS config. Is this a firewall configuration? Block inbound and outbound traffic on NIC

I've gone over a lot of threads and this is what I've come up with. I appreciate any and all comments. :) Thank you.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

This build is being used a plex server (it will transcode) and a NAS server for media and backups. It may also be used for VM hosting in the future.

I live in a small apartment so the server will for the time being reside in the same room as the TV so these are important considerations:

  • Noise
  • Reliability (survive power loss)
  • Power consumption (it'll be on 24/7)
  • Longevity (I don't want to have to upgrade it for say 5 years)
  • Ease (I'd rather spend a little more now than run into bottlene

The answer online seems to be yes but so far I'm not seeing it. I suck so it should only be matching me with other people that suck at my level. Thus far I've had games where I'm getting only <5 kills while a couple people absolutely dominate.

Having said that I'm only a handful of games in so I assume the MMR is still calibrating? There weren't any placement matches so it's hard to tell. PC btw.

I just got my watch and I'm pretty disappointed with the ergonomics of it. To press the crown, do you reach from the top with your index finger on the left side and thumb on the crown? Or, do you just press it without anything on the other side?

Reverse for the bottom right button.

Force touch is awesome; I personally think that that should be the main way to interact with it because the back of the watch is flush with the wrist. Force push to bring up the apps list, click. Bam. Instead of twisting my right wrist one way, and then twisting it the other way.

Maybe I'm just not used to the controls yet, but that says something too. I feel like Jony Ive hasn't doesn't a good job on this

Hello and thank you for clicking! My doctor and I have struggled for months... years to get me a diagnosis but it's never seemed clear cut. Since she's known me I've been more on the depressed side of things which would be depression but the other week I felt really good for about 5-6 days. I was high but all of a sudden I felt a rush like I had taken a bunch of ecstasy and half my brain woke up; lots of good thoughts followed. After those days then the fatigue and old patterns and behaviors returned. The weekend had me feeling good too although weed was involved.

I know that I'm in a good mood when I feel connected to other people around me that care about me. The depression is when I tr
