This week's episode (available on npr). Very fun to hear them try to figure out how bagpipe competitions may look!

Potted Lemon tree baby- yellowed leaves - no root rot, in part sun outside, ~60s
reddit.com/gallery/13vfa8sI planted this from seed over a year ago. They grew, had some green stalks, and then died back during the winter, which I assumed was proper/seasonal. Now the bulbs and roots still look good, but the plant isn't coming back. How should I be treating them to encourage springtime growth again?
Has anyone come up with clever ways to carry water on longer/hotter parades (besides having someone follow with water jugs and quickly try to pass water around in breaks?)? I've seen some belt-holsters for bottles, some bottles shoved into bag covers. Anything that's worked well for your band? (bonus points for sustainability!)
I was attempting to make a pear... and used a light green underglaze as shown here on a speckled buff clay, cone 6, clear glaze on top. It did not turn out as expected.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a more pear-like coloring? I'm thinking I'll just lighten the underglaze a lot more (and do some test tiles) or switch to a pear-y glaze (leaning to amaco potter's choice lustrous jade?)
This was handbuilt and I'm firing at a studio kiln.
I got this plant in January harvested from a bigger healthy indoor plant. I transported it from another home (not in dirt), so I put it in water for a while. It was looking nice and healthy, leaves perked up, roots looked healthy, so I decided it was time for dirt. About 3 weeks ago, I put it in this pot- potting soil mix, there is a drainage hole. I've been using a moisture meter and only watering when dry. I've tried letting it dry out more...or less...and tried spritzing it for humidity. It's been mostly on a shelf about 10 ft away from a south facing window, but I tried it for a few days under a full-spectrum light. I have one of those miracle grow slow-release fertilizer sticks i
Udemy has all of their classes on sale through today, and a bunch of personal finance ones are on sale. Does anyone have any experience with any that may be useful beyond what can be learned here?
I'm looking for suggestions for holding cases/pipes at games or just things you've liked/hated about any setups you've seen. Prime consideration is easy to setup/fits in car easily for hauling and won't drop pipes. I will need a setup that holds ~12-15 pipes, but will probably look for something modular so we can take less to smaller events. (I am willing to build or buy premade) Thank you.
Hi all, I'm pretty new to succulents and bought this really awesome looking Gasteria. However, he does not look happy. He had some rotting leaves when I first got him and I pulled those off, dried him off, and replanted him in cactus soil. He's in a decently lit window. But he seems to have lost all his color, though there are some baby leaves. Any suggestions of how to nurse him back to health? (Sorry the picture is a bit blurry, my phone would not cooperate) Thank you!!
