I just came to give a PSA.

Being whacked by a Great Dane tail hurts like hell, but have you ever felt a GD elbow dig into your thigh?

Let's just say, it feels like you can't get the dog off you fast enough.

Maybe Google didn't lie?

Q and Maybe Some A’s

So we all know Google has been a lie. My Great Dane experience has shown me that Great Dane are in fact not sedentary and they certainly do not mature at 2 years old (or maybe I don't understand the meaning of the word).

So here's my query:
Have you ever had a puppy that is completely CHILL? Like I'm talking, not easily excitable, quite independent, very friendly and honestly a couch potato with a designated hole in the couch that fits their body perfectly.

I've tried everything under the sun but this kiddo is UNBOTHERED/.com. At best, she'll take a leisure jog to lean on me, but nothing theatrical. Is this a common experience with GD Owners? Or are my other dogs just lunatics?

I wish to gather some insight and stories from people with a narcissist parent and you, who is now above 25 y/o and financially independent.

  • Do finances play a big role in your relationship with them? How so? Or Why do you think not?
  • If you have siblings, do your siblings have the same type of financial relationship with the parent/s?
  • What has been your biggest problem with your parents ever since you reached older age with financial independence?

Is anyone else facing a unique experience of implementing a routine so well that not only do their dogs do everything automatically, but they also remind you of the routine? 😂

Some examples:

In my house, we have 4 dogs of big size and massive personality, so routine is everything in this home.

The cool part:

  • Without a word, after eating they go potty.
  • If I put my coffee down in the morning, nothing happens. But if I put my finished coffee (empty mug, down), they automatically run to the designated eating area.

The interesting part: If I drink coffee and put down an empty mug at any other time of the day, they don't even bat an eye. Nobody moves.
