Sorry if this question has been posed before, but i couldn't find anything and the instructions on the packet don't address this.
I have a golden retriever pup, shes about 9 months old so she's starting to shed a bit. I bought this: https://www.ebay.com./itm/Dematting-Comb-Tool-for-Dogs-Cats-Grooming-Undercoat-Rake-with-Dual-Side-Pets/113175489889?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
It removes a TON of hair - to be expected I guess but is it possible to over groom the dog? I know the undercoat is important for them to maintain temperature etc.
So I have a 7 month old golden retriever, we go for regular walks and dog park plays etc.
I’ve read a lot of accounts online about not putting too much pressure on her joints by running but I’d love to know how people went about getting started.
For one I don’t think maintaining her attention while running will be a problem, walks she can still be distracted but if I even job a bit she follows and doesn’t seem to be interested in anything else. Biggest concern is her joints of course - she’s about 20kg (44+ lbs) now so I’d imagine she’ll still grow until she hits 30kg or so?
Interested in seeing what people think/have done as I need more than an easy walk to keep things interesting
Hi everyone, wanted some help/advice.
My puppy golden retriever is 6 months old, fantastically wel behaved and while she doesn’t like to get in the car she’s never had problems.
Recently she’s been desexed, and I noticed one time she had thrown up in the car on the way back from somewhere.
Today is the third time she’s done this. I opened the back and she’s literally heaving and throws up as I’m watching. This has never happened before she was desexed.
She sits in the boot (it’s a hatch) I’ve got a dog mat thing that covers the whole area so it’s clean and I’ve hosed down the thing each time. Seems like I might just have to give up on driving her around after meals? Any help or pointer
Hi everyone, my pup has what appears to be a wart/pimple on her eyelid? I will drop into the vet this weekend if it’s still there but wanted to know if anyone might be able to shed some light on this

So I’ve read this anecdotally here and there but I thought it would be good to ask others too - how do you feel about teaching a young pup to jump and when is it risky for their future? My pup is about 12 weeks now and can jump on command (not very high but maybe a foot off the ground if she tries), is this going to hurt her in the future and should I limit it?
So my golden retriever pup about 9 weeks old jumped from my girlfriends lap onto the floor from the couch (maybe 2 feet off the ground).
She landed, yelped and cried for maybe 20 seconds. Noticed a slight limp when she got up to walk but about 5 minutes later after comforting her she’s walking fine now. I felt thoroughly around the area, nothing seems any different between her left and right front paws or legs (she was limping on her left)
If anyone has any suggestions or knowledge from previous experience that would be much appreciated!
So I’ve realised I’ve forgotten to cancel a subscription with this service.
Also noticed I’ve been charged by some company named fsprg.uk the same number of times as my flograppling subscription, to the tune of 12.99. Anyone else have this experience?
Research indicates it’s some payment processing company but seriously all of this just makes me hate flo more.
Update: canceled my card, there’s no way to delete the details off of the flo website. Might be possible to do so thru contacting customer service but I’ve read poor accounts of that too.
So I recently bought a new polo gti. Fun car, fast enough for me and a manual so I’ve been practising my stick technique (needs a lot of work)
However I can’t help but look at other cars I could’ve bought, thinking about cars I could trade in for (plus some cash).
After getting back into driving and browsing this sub a lot I can think of so many things I imagine I’d like better.
Financially it makes no sense to swap, and honestly I think a big part of it goes back to me not spending more time on the whole buying process. I should have really driven more (thankfully I didn’t get he camry which was the first option).
Just wanted some thoughts/opinions from people here.
