We are going through a PCI audit with a client and they flagged port 7700 with weak SSL ciphers. We do not use that port and I cannot find much info on it other then it is EM7 security communication(mostly used for monitoring I believe).

I put a firewall rule at the top of the list to drop packets to 7700, also verified no NAT rules for it but the port still shows as open? FW is running 6.41.2

Other mtiks we mange show the port as filtered, but this router has it open for some reason. There is no network monitoring for this router. It is a simple setup with a few NAT rules and IpSec VPN.

A bit frustrating that the router is not respecting its own firewall rules.

Any thoughts or more

I have been troubleshooting this server for hours and need a second opinion on where to look.
Server is a Dell T320 running ESXi 5.5, 6 core Xeon, 32gb ram, RAID 1SAS + 1SATA ESX host is set to high performance, hyperthreading enabled. Mostly defaults since it is such a small instance. No reservations or limits on guest resources.

There were plans to add more guests, but right now it is only running 1 guest, Server 2008R2 with vmtools installed running a LOB app with SQL.

On a random Friday morning performance plummeted in the guest OS. CPU usage was pegged. Task manager alone is using 20% of the CPU guest is noticably slow just moving windows

ESXi host is pretty much sitting idl

Looking for other experiences with Office365 support. I had previously used other hosted exchange solutions but bowed to a client.

This is their Tier 3 support, which I have reached after 10 days of calling and escalating support:

From what we have researched on the issue on the Friday. I see

You were using a 10 GB PST file to import all his items to a user’s Outlook which is cached mode. After a weeks’ time the 10GB PST file is uploaded to Outlook.

Currently the OST file shows up as 10 GB, However when customer logs into his outlook in online mode he can only see 5 GB and the same with his OWA. (Which means on the server only 5 GB is uploaded and the rest of the data is getting uploa
