I'm new to Payload, just testing out to find a good CMS. I've managed to setup some pages in the admin and I can see them well, but it seems like I have to manually tweak the codebase to create the homepage.

Is this right?

Can I somehow just edit the landing page from the admin as well with a default installation?

Up until this point I thought that it's not really important how the joining works in practice as it's just something we should accept in a sci-fi show.

I think the radio signal is not the mechanism the hive mind works. In the first episode after getting infected everybody was already immediately synced and they didn't have the time to build a radio signal just yet.

So how it might work if not via magic telepathy?

It used to work before to cast from my laptop to my TV app. Now the cast function is gone from the browser, but my phone app still works.

I know I can use the "cast save and share" from the [:] menu, but that's not what I want since it casts the whole browser tab (with a significant lag) instead of playing the video on the native app on my TV.

I'm looking for ideas as a EU citizen where to incorporate my SaaS business as I'm close to the release point.
