Is this happening to anybody else?

I'll finish a game. The AAR will say I have 1 battle pass reward. If I click on this reward it will animate me at -1 token, gaining a level, and going to 0 tokens. After closing the AAR, if I look at the Battle Pass I don't have any new tokens.

This doesn't always happen though, sometimes it acts as normal.

What are people's thoughts on this? They appear to have had a successful existence, been well received critically and kept things going for 15 years, but have now essentially said fuck this shit, citing the toll it all takes on their personal lives. Notably it doesn't appear to have been a direct result of financial distress, unless I'm reading it wrong.

This seems like a pretty damning take on the games industry, particularly for smaller players. They mention the difficulty in their chosen "stealth strategy" genre, but it would seem applicable to most of the niche or somewhat-niche genres.

I saw somebody in a thread mention that controller players had fried with MnK in this tournament, showing that (to their mind) MnK was no more difficult to learn than controller. This wasn't my take on things so I decided to have a closer look.

The second JoeWo tournament was a reverse input tournament. If you primarily competed on controller then you used MnK and vice versa. Unfortunately there aren't too many MnK players on the high level tournament scene so there were only 4/30 players moving from MnK to controller. There were only 30 players instead of 32 because two didn't compete. The tournament was was won by TOMMEY and Almond, who beat Huskerrs and Newbz in the final.

I'm looking at the code on the wiki page for Reentrancy.

int tmp;

void swap(int* x, int* y)
{
    /* Save global variable. */
    int s;
    s = tmp;

    tmp = *x;
    *x = *y;
    *y = tmp; /* Hardware interrupt might invoke isr() here. */

    /* Restore global variable. */
    tmp = s;
}

void isr()
{
    int x = 1, y = 2;
    swap(&x, &y);
}

I think I'm missing something conceptually here. If this code gets reentered just prior to the statement *y = tmp;, can the other invocation not alter the global tmp and thus

Quick history: Ubuntu GNOME 16.04. motd was saying I had upgrades, but apt-get update && upgrade wasn't upgrading anything. It did, however, mention a number of things that were held back (if I manually held back these packages then I have no memory of it). I tried the same with apt instead of apt-get, and it seems to have installed all of the held back packages (motd now says 0 updates available)

So, I have two questions.

  1. Why did apt not honour the hold that apt-get was apparently honouring?

  2. Assuming I'm correct that I didn't manually put on the hold, why would these have been held back? I've noticed that I have some occasional screen corruption in chrome since the upg

I look at a post with a lot of comments, and I have a sort order set, let's say "hot".

All the comments that load at first seem to be in the correct order, but when I click the load more at the very bottom of the page, the newly loaded comments aren't what they should be, usually they are much less upvoted than they should be.

I verified this by comparing it to the reddit html version.

While I'm here, when you press Go to->a subreddit, it should automatically pop-up a keyboard but doesn't. I've noticed you've fixed a few other instances of this about the app, good job!

This has happened to me twice now since hitting "Update".

I was playing as a Warlock both times. I life tapped and it immediately ended my turn. I life tapped plenty of other times during the game, and I don't remember what might have been similar between the two turns it happened in.

Has this happened to anybody else? I happen to be using Wine, but I've never had an issue like this before. I doubted myself the first time, but after the second I'm positive I didn't accidentally click End Turn.

So I press the super key and start typing the name of an app I want to run. They appear on the screen, and I can select from a list that should get smaller as I type more, but how are these ordered by default and how can I change it? It seems to be some sort of "best match" ordering, but I'm not sure exactly what it's basing it on.

I'm trying to solve a particular ordering issue which I'll probably do by changing the names involved, but I'm looking for a more elegant solution first.

I've been using my (tropical freshwater) aquarium water to water the plants and flowers in my garden, which good results. I've been throwing out the used media though, and it just occurred to me that perhaps I could shake out the used media in some (non-aquarium) water and use that as well?

I guess I'm not sure exactly what my question here is, perhaps there are some pitfalls, especially if it's not just the coarse filter?
