As many Dads on here have mentioned… TV can change your kid. We’ve all normalized watching TV and if you’re not careful it can spiral. I’m not saying this will fix everything, but so far this has been our experience.

We started with Bluey, Ms Rachel, Daniel Tiger at 2 y/o. 20-30 minutes/day after daycare to wind down became a habit before doing anything else. Then came the Spidey, Paw Patrol, Masters of the Universe(most recent), other more stimulating shows. On top of that, movie nights and weekend TV.

Then we had kid #2(2mo). We’ve been exhausted, TV time started getting longer with multiple movies on the weekend. And the tantrums started getting worse. The second he wakes up, he start

I overheard my Wife saying this to our 3.5 y/o in the kitchen while sitting here with our newborn. I think he took a handful of flour and dumped it on the floor and laughed like an evil genius.

Just wanted to make sure ya’ll are following the rules. Cause it’s that simple, right? 😆

Life is crazy. Watching birth is amazing, crazy and scary all at once. Became a father of 2 on Friday, was the plan since early on in our relationship. My 3.5/yo met my 2nd born son today and just wanted to kiss him, touch his nose, tickle his feet and have him all to himself. He’s only 3.5 but I’m so proud how compassionate he is. His teacher recently told us when other kids fall down at school, he runs to them and makes sure they’re ok and he helps her clean up all the messes(even if it is for stickers 🤣)

I write this wall of text as I’m exhausted as baby sleeps on me, won’t sleep laying down right now. I remember that 1st week or 2 being the most tired I’ve ever been in my life, and we’r

AT&T Fiber Internet

Business Recommendations

Fiber infrastructure was just installed in my NW burb neighborhood. Salesman came to my door advertising $55/month for 1 Gbps, “free” router, no contract and ~$150 of kickbacks for leaving your previous provider.

Any reviews on AT&T fiber? We’d be coming from ~200Mbps Comcast. Could use the quadruple+ speed boost but hesitant cause companies suck…

My almost 3 yo boy transitioned from crib to big bed 2 weeks ago. He got HFM the following Sunday so that’s been an added wrench. He was always a perfect sleeper and bedtime was always 30 minutes(we are very lucky) so it’s been a struggle for all of us. We have started essentially co-sleeping with him in his bed to get him to sleep. We sneak out once he’s asleep, but sometimes it takes 2 hours to calm him down and get him to actually go to sleep. He wakes up either every hour or every 3-4 hours and yells for us until we fall back asleep with him… then we end up sleeping in his bed because we’re exhausted.

We are only 2 weeks in and he’s been sick on top of also just getting good at going p

Waiver Question - Bug?

:Sleeper2: APP/Tech Assistance

Seems like an obvious bug but I want to make sure I’m fully understanding how rolling waivers works. Friend of mine wanted Woody Marks. He had #1 priority and I had #3. I ended up getting him, it shows that he also had a claim, then it sent us both to the bottom of waivers even though didn’t get anybody. Bug or feature?

2 incomes with a 2.5yo and leaning towards a 2nd kid. Currently pay ~$24k/year for daycare. 2 kids will be ~$45k. I didn’t go to college, but we are still paying off my wife’s loans just like most people in the US are.

Just learned yesterday that even once they reach public school/kindergarten at 5yo, we are nowhere near guaranteed to have state-covered after school care(after 3:00pm) because there are so many families on the wait list in our area. That would still be ~$12k.

Here I am always thinking we get an immediate $2000/month back in our pockets once our kid is in kindergarten. 😭

Fellas. It takes some people half a lifetime to pay off college(assuming it gets forgiven eventually i
