valk main trying to push for masters for my first time

I’ve noticed that my stats are weirdly tracking for either arenas OR BR, when I’m playing either game mode. It’s not tracking for the correct game mode. Anyone else experiencing this?

My friend and I have been improving at the same rate since we started and keep dipping in and out of D1 and back to plat 3. Lately I feel like he’s progressing more than me and I’m the one keeping us from moving up. Looking for someone to maybe show me what I’m doing wrong or what the problem is
