Wanted to share my one-off experience with the Kobra 3 v2 Combo, to document my issues and what I've tried, and where I've found solutions, in case someone searches for problems similar to mine. FWIW, I did try to return the printer because I had issues from the start, that's another story; I am now just trying to make use of the printer as best I can.

Immediately upon getting the Kobra 3v2 Combo in August, I had an issue with the ACE Pro unit, slot 3. The roller has never gripped the filament properly in this one slot. The one or two times it did grab the filament, it was very temporary - at best this leads to the printer producing circular filament tangle error messages, which don't ha

I know eBay isn't perfect, and this isn't trying to be some aimless rant. But... Last night, I couldn't get into my Draft page on PC at all with the message "it's not you, it's us" error message. On Mobile (Android) I could tell something was off with the images but couldn't see exactly what was going on. This morning, Drafts are back, but the images I've uploaded with mobile are 512x384! I tried again to upload the images from mobile this morning, same result. When I take those same exact images, transfer them to my PC, then upload into my PC's browser, everything seems fine. So, I guess if you're having this issue like I am, transfer the images to your PC and upload from the browse

I just updated today, and I'm seeing what almost looks like "composite" artifacts / noise in a few cores, specifically, the Asteroids core (ericlewis, 1.0.1, the copyright notice on the bottom it's most visible - and it's much more visible in docked mode), and the ericlewis Genesis core (0.4.2) has the same artifacts (Sega startup logo and other screens has "noise").

I did not have these issues before update. I also know that cores will be updated and that patience is key here, but I just want to confirm that other folks are seeing the same thing.

And I notice that the cores I mention are both ericlewis' - I'll test his other cores when I get a minute.

I have a 2019 LG B9 55" and a 2020 65" CX (both OLED). When the Analogue Pocket is plugged into the Dock, the display is not transferred properly to the TV for either of these sets (but works elsewhere).

If I reconnect HDMI, or if I power off the TV and power it back on, I'll get a picture. I've confirmed everything is operational with the Dock and the Pocket (and on current firmware). I have tried all resolution settings to see if something is amiss there. My very old (2008) Sony 1080p set works fine.

I suspect something is happening either in the HDMI / EDID handshake? Looking around at some others having issues, I see similar symptoms (different TVs tho) - I think this may be a s

Upgrade a 3900X? Should I pick 5800X3D, 5900X, or 5950X? Do nothing?

I have 3080 FTW, with 32GB, 4TB M.2, running on a 4K OLED at 120hz. Focus on gaming with thread heavy workloads on the side. Target is a 20% improvement in fps, at least staying same in multithread workloads, all without breaking the bank.

Story:
My 3900X has served me well for two years. For the first year of ownership, I couldn't get a graphics card. I finally found a FTW 3080 after almost exactly 1 year using the PC, I overpaid for it initially (I basically had to buy a barebones machine to get the card, but it's all good, that machine is running with my old cards for another family member). I game at 4K 120hz

I'm in Windows, and when running "make_roms.ps1" by right clicking it and running in Power Shell I get the error:

"Error: The term 'orca.exe' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again."

I thought this might be an issue with the location of orca.exe... so I literally copied it into every folder - same result.

I have tried to run this via the power shell command line (in normal and admin mode), but I am getting other error messages. "can't be loaded because running scripts is disabled on this system" -- like dude, you JUST let m

eBay Bucks is a discount program that has for several years given 1-5% back to users on all eBay purchases, paid out as coupons.

It's not like eBay Bucks was a big deal, but it was nice to see eBay promote regular sellers, and encourage repeat business on the platform. eBay is effectively ending the Bucks program in April. They said that targeted promotions will remain, but Bucks will no longer be earned on all purchases - in terms of how most people use the program, it's done.

I'm mostly just upset that eBay is taking yet another opportunity to claw back any money they can. Because of course they are. I'm just certain they'll use this recovered revenue to add a bunch of fantast

I've seen several posts in different searches about the fact that there are "patches" or "hacks" out there to disable bilinear filtering in different games on the Original Xbox. That said, I can't find any instructions or any pre-patched ISOs (or patcher files) to actually remove the filtering. I'd love to remove the filtering from any of the 2D games out there. Anyone have any references that they can share?

(originally posted this to Xbox, probably better here...)
