I've had a pretty good workflow working correctly with files being written directly on my drive. And with this week's update, now everything gets done on the cloud. And it completely messes up my workflow.

Has anyone found a way to automate the way Claude looks and accesses local files so that you can make manual changes to a file locally and the cloud version sees the change and acts on it?

Part of my workflow is still somewhat manual. I didn't realize it at first, but I was making changes locally and, of course, Claude was not picking up the changes and it wasn't behaving as I expected to.

Is there a simple way to upload a skill to the ChatGPT app? In Claude it takes a couple of clicks but I don't see anything in ChatGPT to add your own skill file. The only option I see is to create one with the skill creator.

Which is fine when starting from scratch, but otherwise…

All I can find, so far, are ways to do it manually in your .codex folder. It's fine for me, but I,m looking for an easy way that works for people who don't know their way around the file system. Kinda like there were two custom GPT modes: create for newbies and configure for those who tested the newbie approach and figured out that it was pretty useless…

It's there in the ChatGPT Classic app, but not the unified app.

Has anyone else noticed that at the end of scheduled tasks, Sonnet 5 adds <run-summary> at the very end? This does not happen with 4.6.

Hi,

I just bought a GX-1B from Boss and I'm trying to connect it to my Android phone.

I tried two different Android phones and when I tried to connect, it says that it's connecting, but nothing happens. The mobile app flashes the icon and then it comes back to the selection menu for the device.

I did a firmware upgrade, so I'm at the latest version, and I don't understand why it doesn't work.

On one of my phones, it connects and disconnects a few seconds later; on the other one, it never even connects.

Does anyone have an idea what's happening and how to fix it?

Hi,

I use keyd on Linux to change the way pressing the keys on my keyboard behaves. This is what I used:

home = end insert = home end = insert

So if I press the Home key, it behaves as the end key, etc.

I realized that this wreaks havoc with the way espanso expands triggers.

If I type one of my triggers, it selects the texte before the trigger and stops. I'm not sure why or how to make this work. For now, I'm removing the map but I've been using this for so long that muscle memory gets in the way a lot.

If someone has dealt with this before and has found a solution that works well...

Hi,

I'm on a Google Pixel 8 Pro. I mainly use wireless earbuds and I noticed that no matter which pair I'm using, once in a while one of the earbuds gives out and comes back. It's as if the pairing disappears for a while. It's intermittent. It mostly happens with my podcast app but I've noticed it with YouTube music also.

I've also noticed that with my Pixel watch I sometimes have syncing issues between the watch and Fitbit. so I'm beginning to think it happens because of the Bluetooth connection.

Have others found problems with the Bluetooth connection recently and if so how do you fix it?

And I mean a real fix, not a "Gemini says this" answer...

I recently had to reset my watch because it was no longer able to connect to my phone. Since I've done the reset I have reconfigured the watch pretty much as it was before. However I no longer get vibrations on the watch for non-native applications. For example if an event occurs on the Google Calendar I get a notification and I get the vibration on the watch. However if I get something on Signal or WhatsApp I do not get the vibration.

I'm not sure why that happens. I went through all the settings and everything seems to be how it should be but I'm still not getting the vibration.

What could I have overlooked?

Hi,

After rebooting my phone, my watch has disconnected and I'm unable to reconnect it. Bluetooth is on, location is on on my device, and when I try to connect to pair it, my phone doesn't see the watch.

I tried again this morning and after failing the watch says "reset the watch". My understanding is that if I reset it I lose all my data, which means two years of stuff that disappears.

Is this really the only option or is there something else I'm missing?

I'm getting to configure on Ubuntu.

I primarily use the equivalent of a CMS keyboard layout (Canadian multilingual system, I think). H however, I sometimes switch to a standard US English keyboard, especially when coding.

Espanso works with the US keyboard but not with the CMS one. I get a bunch of errors in the logs that look like this:

Hi,

For some reason, AG is no longer able to create and edit files in my folder. It uses to put its working files in the .tmp folder of my project. Now it says it's creating the file but it gets stuck and never creates it. I've checked the permissions, made sure that my account can write in the folder and it can. So I'm not sure what's happening.

If I create the file first and the agent tries to recreate the same file (if I stop and restart the process) then it will edit without a problem. But any type of file creation fails.

Anyone have an idea? What can I do to fix it? For now I'll ask CODEX to do the work, but I used AG+Gemini for the project without a hitch until today.
