First: what a night! Exceptional defensive play by Kroos, Rudiger and Mendy. Bloody fantastic.

Jude didn't play with as much spark as I hoped he would, I suppose he has time to be better. Excellent hold-up play though.

Good skill from Vinicius, and dreadful finishing from Rodrygo. I wish he was more consistent, just like I wish Joselu had better finishing (good instinct for the second goal though).

I don't see a reason to bench Mendy anymore, both of our fullbacks had an insane game. Fede + Carvajal absolutely pocketed everyone on their side.

I do see a problem with Tchouameni's technical ability however. He was a bit nervous, sure, but Camavinga had better mentality and skill in the ga

I plan to jog at about 8-9 Km/Hr with breaks. I'm 95KG and 171 cm tall.

Do you think I really need to go for the more expensive models like the T101, or can I get the (rather strangely named) models from Walmart/Amazon/BestBuy? I'd rather not spend $600+ on a treadmill.

Thanks!

Edit: please stop with telling me to run outside, it's not going to work for my situation. Thanks!

Hear me out. I'm going to list the positives first and then go on to why it's not enough.

  1. What an insane combination Camavinga + Fede Valverde are. Both of them have been basically been running up and down the field for the entire match and Fede still has it in him to create something like that? I'll agree with everyone that this is just a notch lower than Benjamin Pavard in 2018. Fede, please score more shots from outside the box, WE NEED MOAR!!
  2. Kroos is absolute class, no question about this. Yes, he doesn't have the stamina, but the man can just see the game. He knows where the ball is going, and unlike last year, was quite alert and was closing down people. Fabulous.

Hi everyone, I seem to have made some elementary mistakes with my security groups and would like some help. I am unable to ping and commands like curl randomly fail. I do not have an NACL for this VPC, it's just a security group for this instance.

# Security group configuration

resource "aws_security_group" "instance_security_group_k8s" {
  name        = "instance_security_group_k8s"
  description = "SSH"
  vpc_id      = aws_vpc.aws_vpc.id

  tags = {
    Name = "instance_security_group"
  }
}

# SSH rules

resource "aws_vpc_security_group_ingress_rule" "instance_security_group_ingress_ssh_ipv4_k8s" {
  security_group_id = aws_security_group.instance_security_group_k8s.id

Hi everyone,

I have been facing a multitude of issues trying to install k8s using the docs on RHEL. I've been at it for a week and the process seems extremely hacky and absolutely not fit for production.

Right when I was wondering what to do, I came across comments on this sub explaining people don't actually run default k8s in production and instead use "kubernetes distributions" in production: what should I be looking at? I don't think it would be a good idea to run k3s for a mid-sized company's workloads, yes? I am looking at RKE2, of course, but that's just one option.

I'm about to ask for the impossible, but could someone also take a look at my script and tell me what I'm doing wrong

Hi everyone, I was looking for used business laptops on Ebay (Thinkpads and Dell Latitudes for the most part), and I was wondering; where does everyone purchase their spare batteries? I would like to change the battery once I receive the laptop, however Dell and Lenovo have exorbitant pricing for official batteries from their website.

Which ebay retailer do you trust? Where would you purchase a battery for your used laptop?

Thanks!

Hi, I've been trying to look into this, and the only thing I have come up with is using the Saltstack document in SSM.

However, this is a bit cumbersome, since I can't actually just go the salt master and issue a cli command; I'll have to wrap it in the AWS SSM command for it to work.

I'm looking for a workaround for my situation. My infrastructure is very simple; a couple of EC2 instances in a private subnet.

I read online that AWS SSM was likely the most secure option in trying to access resources in private subnets, but it looks like I'll have to go DIY with gateways myself. How do you think I should approach this? I would like to use salt for day 1 and day 2 operations.

Thanks!

Warm IEMs under $200?

Headphones - IEM/Earbud

Hi everyone, looking for warm IEMs in the budget segment - anything that has a good bass shelf and recessed upper midrange & treble?

Thanks!

I see that NVMe devices can now be accessed over RDMA/TCP/IP networks, and that is truly wonderful progress. However, why stop there?

I haven't been able to see any general support for PCIe-oF (or Ethernet, doesn't matter), and it would be invaluable for the people who have the hardware. For example, some GPUs and HBAs have SR-IOV support in their firmware, and being able to share Virtual Functions of these devices over the network will make one's lab really akin to resource allocation in the cloud!

I really want to see this, but I haven't found any support for something like this. Would anyone know where to look?

Thanks!

Everyone says "money" but how exactly did the Saudis influence the entire corporation behind the league to hold games in Saudi? I want the two-legs of Madrid vs Barca in the Santiago Bernabeu and Camp Nou, not some middle-of-the-desert Saudi stadium.

Where exactly did the Saudis invest funds to make this change? How are all teams on board with this? To what extent did they bribe the Spaniards?

Barcelona was disorganised and were simply not at their best. That shot from Pedri was very close to becoming a goal.

With that said, our pace and tenacity is definitely one of the best in Europe right now, no question about it. Defence needs a bit more work still, we're not going to be able to close down Grealish, Foden, Rodri, Silva and KDB like this. No complaints about midfield and attack, just wish that Bellingham starts taking volleys from now on.

With that said, a win over Barca feels great after that humiliation during the friendlies.

Hi everyone,

I'd like to ask for your opinions on the LCD-2 vs LCD-X for the 2021 (latest?) version. To be specific: I'm asking about impressions of both without EQ.

I am aware of the midrange recession, and with the tuning revision of the LCD-X, it doesn't seem as egregious as before. With that said, looking at Oratory's and Resolve's measurements for the LCD-2F and LCD-X 2021, the only real differences that I see are significant bump in the middle of the midrange on the LCD-X, whilst the LCD-2 seems very slightly warmer than the LCD-X in the treble. I do not see many other differences in the FR.

For the people here who do not use EQ/have listened and compared between the stock tunin

Hi everyone,

I was just going through this video, where Resolve shows the treble peaks (lower treble in the LCD-XC) and the upper treble (in the LCD-X).

However, when I go look at their GRAS measurements from here, I do not see a 10-14K peak in the LCD-X. I do see a peak at 5.5K in the LCD-X though. In general, LCD-XCs seem to have more upper treble whilst LCD-X is lacking the spikes that I see in the video.

I wanted to confirm if these sound-characteristics actually exist from people who own these. Do the LCD-XCs/LCD-Xs sound sharp to you with stock pads and tuning?

Thanks!

Apologies for the long title.

Essentially, is it a good idea in terms of security to have different VMs running under different users on the main hypervisor? For example: running Rocky Linux as the Type-1 hypervisor, then running critical (for the infrastructure) VMs such as the DNS and DHCP server under user 1, running important VMs (like the media server) under user 2, and finally running throwaway VMs (for testing) under user 3?

I have yet to delve into SELinux and general security practices in locking down one's hypervisor, but I aim to achieve a high-level of security in my homelab environment (maybe even go full zero-trust).

Threat model is someone who is already in my network and
