Hi all. My new girlfriend is vegan and doesn't wear any animal products. I'd love to make her a scarf/mitten combo for Christmas but don't know where to start with regards to yarn. I don't want to use all acrylic, but wondered what a good substitute was that feels similar to soft wool. Bamboo? Cotton? Something worsted weight. Thanks!

New girl wants to be there to support and has come to terms with the fact that I might die, and it's not scaring her off. I don't want to fall into caregiver vs patient roles. I guess I'm asking if anyone has any advice on ho
