So far some friends said even with the about page and tutorial, they are confused on what it does before I explain it. Do you guys agree? Any tips on how to make it more clear?
https://vipixi.com is my pixelboard startup idea. It's my baby and I'm finding it hard to let go. I want to make it works so bad but after spending $200 of ads on it and getting lots of visitors not only did no one convert into a sign up. Not even one person painted a single free pixel at all. Color me shocked (pun intended). What did I do wrong?
For those of you guys who are OG's on Reddit, probably remember April Fool's pranks in the past that. r/places was done a few times over the years. I always loved that. And also took inspiration from a very cool internet story in https://milliondollarhomepage.com/ If you have never heard of it, look into it, very fascinating stuff and I've learned a lot through the stories alone.
Taking inspiration from these original ideas and more over the years, not so originally myself, I created a new and modern take on several ideas and brought them together to create Vipixi.

I am kickstarting very humbly and grassroots my new internet community here: https://vipixi.com/ just walking through the introduction tutorial will take you through the steps to create your first pixels. This would be greatly appreciated to help generate some small initial buzz. The app is still in alpha and I plan to continue to work on and develop it this year and more! It's still a work in progress but I finally have a very rough initial presentable app. Any initial feedback is genuinely greatly appreciated. Although, I am adding improvements daily so the app as you do see it will be changing quickly and often. I am hoping to have an MVP by EOW.
