I’m 27 and I can admit when something isn’t working. I have been on many a first date, fewer a second or third date, and have had 2 relationships total, thus far (if we even want to call them that). I was seeing someone recently, we went on three dates. I thought I could see something with him. After our third date yesterday, I feel that pit in my stomach. Sure enough, early this morning, I get a text (abbreviated version): “You’re a nice girl, I don’t feel a spark”.

Hey, I’m all for the honesty. I don’t want my time wasted if potential isn’t seen in me. In us. Hell, I waited for the shoe to drop anyhow (I have that “6th sense”, due to years of rejection. That pit in my stomach is rarely w

I’ve been the proud owner of a refurbished 2020 M1 (touch bar version, 13 inch model) since late 2021. This laptop served me well during work from home, several job changes, and life changes.

I’m being threatened by lifestyle creep daily; it still works fine for the most part. The only thing is, the storage is 256 gb and I can’t fully backup my entire digital footprint on this machine. It also froze yesterday for the first time in a while, for a few minutes with the spinning beach ball…

I’m at an impasse. I could get a new macbook pro (or another mac model), but this one isn’t actively dying. This is my longest lasting mac (precious was a 2018 air, that was basically useless by mid 2021).

Hello, forgive me if this is not the right place for this question.

I’m new to mechanical keyboards, and I recently purchased a YUNZII IF99. Needless to say, it’s the envy of my roommate. I’d like to get him a similar sounding keyboard for Christmas.

In addition, if you have a recommendation for where to get custom keycaps (he wants one that is “money themed” for his enter key, as he does sales and calls that his “money key”). Thank you!

Can anyone recommend a great and affordable waxing place? I’ve never gotten waxed before (but have been meaning to try it, as a sensitive skin girlie). Thanks!

I was directed over here by the lovely people at the OC Subreddit. I’m a lady in my mid twenties and looking to get out there again. Any suggestions on places to meet people? I’m thinking bars or nightclubs. Ideally wanna meet some early 30s nerds :)

Dating in Lake Forest?

Recommendations Needed

I’m a single mid-twenties lady in Lake Forest (moved from North OC about a month ago). I’ve been off the dating apps for a bit and was looking to start getting out there again. Looking at potentially going to some bars and nightclubs if there are any in the area. Any suggestions on where to meet people (primarily mid twenties to early 30s nerds)?

Looking for a dupe of Estée Lauder’s Pure Color lipstick in shade 88 Rubellite. It comes frequently packaged with “freebies” after purchasing a full sized product. I wore this shade a lot in high school. It’s since been discontinued. I’ve had trouble finding a dupe; I know it’s sold on eBay and Amazon but I’m skeptical of buying lipstick that way. Please help!

I (25F) went on a first date recently (with 25M). Things seemed to be going well — we had a varied and lively conversation about lots of different things. We had been chatting on the app, and when we parted ways, I got his number.

After that, I texted saying I had fun and that we should do it again sometime. He agreed, but then said he’s more comfortable moving forward as friends.

Last week I went on a different date, and that dude said he’d like to see me again, and then ghosted me. I’m feeling pretty discouraged about my prospects :/

What are the usual reasons someone gets friendzoned after a first date? I used to have less of a problem getting multiple dates with the same person, b

Hi all. I had an interview a few days ago for an entry level position (I’d say it’s more like “temporary to hire”). At the end of the interview, I received a verbal offer (yay!); the hiring managers and I then discussed my start date.

Because I can’t start until mid June (I want to finish out my current job, which ends in mid June), they gave me a ballpark estimate of the last week of June.

I had another summer position that requires me to give notice by end of next week. I’m not sure if I should give notice, because I only received a verbal offer and I’ve yet to receive any onboarding paperwork/any correspondence since the interview.

I know they’ve got to do the bg check; I’m wondering

Hi all. I am working on starting tutoring as a side gig. I will be filing this income on a Schedule C, but not creating an LLC or anything. I have heard that I may need a business license for the cities I plan on working in (my city, and maybe one neighboring it). Is this true? I want to avoid having to pay a fine in case I don't get a business license.
