There used to be this old joke in the sports car world that a Ferrari was worth more in parts than it was all together. I'm thinking some people are exploiting that on ebay with highly sought after video games.

Admittedly, I'm very new to ebay and online auctions. Did all of my collecting 20 years ago (late 90's to early-mid 2000's). I rummaged used sections at Electronics Boutique and GameStop looking for every PS1, PS2, GBA, and DS JRPGS and Japanese horror game I could find. Turns out my taste in games turned out to be quite expensive for good and bad.

Lately, I've been hunting for Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (GC) on ebay the past week. Despite learning first hand of "sniping" recentl

I'm not so perplexed by the "posting in sub X getting me banned in sub Y" thing. I hear it happens all the time. It's BS still.

My question is why I never received a message telling me I was banned. I thought getting banned meant receiving a message saying so. Is that something new? Bans with no messages?

I play games on fullscreen, like Overwatch. Between matches I alt-tab to my desktop to browse reddit...etc. Then when the new map loads I switch back to Overwatch to participate in the next match.

About a month ago I noticed switching from Desktop to Overwatch will go to a black screen then kick me back to the Desktop. It started out about 1/10 times. Now I have to try 5-7 times to switch back to the game to get the game to actually come back up. This is not specific to Overwatch. It happens with Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 as well, any game I run in fullscreen.

This failed switching never happens switching from Fullscreen Game to Desktop. Just Desktop to Fullscreen Game.

I've got Wind

This seemed too obvious a question so I searched "how to invade" but couldn't find anything.

  1. Neighbor laid claim to one of my systems. I want to go to war with him first.

  2. I looked up that I had to declare war first but game wouldn't let me declare war.

  3. I looked up that I had to have a "cause" first before declaring war. So I laid claim to one of his systems. Both systems in question border each other.

  4. I spent 400 influence making 10 claims. I have no idea what that means or if I spent too much or too little.

  5. That allowed me to declare war by using the Conquest as the cause.

  6. I have declared war but I still can't get my fleet of strikers to move into the system

Tried connecting my controller over bluetooth to my iPhone 7 running iOS 10.

Phone could not "see" controller.

Learned the controller only supports iOS 10 with a firmware update.

Got on PC and downloaded firmware stratus system update software.

Software says, "please turn on the stratus controller and connect it your computer using the USB able."

I do so. I use rear USB port and connect controller using USB cable and switch the power on.

Nothing happens.

I estimate that my computer may not be recognizing the controller. So I try to add it as a device.

No luck. Windows can't "find" my device in the "add device" window.

I download the SteelSeries Engine 3. It does not recognize
