Has it ever occurred to you, that MAYBE, the people are are leaking it, are just as fed up with the direction the show is taking as the viewers, which is why they’re leaking it? This kind of thing happens all the time where cast and crew are pissed with runners ruining their own project so they just leak everything to get it over with

They took over this sub Reddit and with the over the top cleansing, megathread consolidation, management shift and changes happening right before the finale, and moderators actively cleansing and focusing heavy on every thing posted.

You couldn’t be more blatant in the fact the producers and MGM now run this subreddit. Honestly I’m kinda glad that they are because they can see how upset the fanbase majority is.

But it also shows they let this subreddit write this season for them. They used plot points that were discussed and theorized two years ago almost verbatim with no context or backstory to add to it, just to give a quick gotcha moment.

I think, Henry, is supposed to kill Jade now. I think that's what the MiY is trying to have him do. The cycle ends the same, Jade and Tabitha Fail, Jade gets killed by a resident, and Tabitha gets killed by a monster, only to repeat 40 years later. This cycle has been going on for "centuries" as the MiY stated, and she hasn't remembered her connection to the MiY. I think, tabitha may of been the one to initally make the deal and start the sacrifices. That's why he called her a friend.

I was trying to form this theory a little better but I needed to find more things to support it.

I am leaning towards, the monsters, they’re Wendigos. For those of you who don’t know, Wendigos are huge in Native American culture, they are maleovent creatures, that starts off as a human, and eventually turns into a monster. They lurk around forests, and symbolize the consequence of inhumane acts such as being desperate, and selfish. Sound familiar?

People sometimes turn into Wendigos by means of cannibalism, as it’s meant to be human flesh is what makes them crazy. Ways to kill them include, piercing their heart, lighting them on fire, and silver bullets straight to the heart. To ward them

So. Producers have all said, the answers to what is happening in the town, are in the first episode, or atleast most answers.

I’m rewatching season 1, and in the first 10 minutes we see Julie telling Ethan a story, Julie says “the fairies are going to the lake of tears to help bring you back” then we have episode two, Ethan says “I saw the lake of tears. It was a drawing.” Victor was drawing it, and there was another of a town map. Up to the top left corner you see what MIGHT be the lake of tears next to the lighthouse. Off to the left of the lighthouse, is a wooden cabin, seemingly the village where the vegetables were growing with the totems. S4e2, the lake of tears, is again mentioned.

Not for the reasons that most people say. I hate it because of the surge in popularity it brought to the franchise. The cost of merchandise has tripled, even quadrupled in price, scalpers are treating it like they do lego. Jones soda vault tech supply is going for 50-100 online currently, figurines that were once 10-15, are now 45-50, all for the popularity of the show. It’s gonna die down soon, yes, but still be at an insane markup. Then when season 3 comes out, it’ll double in price again, then triple when scalpers start monitoring for drops.
