As the title states, I have a 2007 Chevy Duramax LBZ. It has the following mods (all done by the previous owner) Downpipe, Full Exhaust, PCV reroute, EGR Blocker

It has had this code for months without issue, just yesterday the alternator gave up the ghost. I got a "Battery not charging" warning, and obviously low volts (<14). I replaced the unit, and that warning has gone away. I cleared all the engine codes, and it has come back after the new alternator. But now I'm worried that the P0621 code is a sign of something that caused the failure of the alternator, not the other way around.

I have a code related to the EGR, and when I scan I also get a P0621 DTC. According to some DBs - "Ge
