Who knows how this is going to go, but just posting a quick reminder that everyone should be dilligent with this afternoon/evening's weather. We have been upgraded to a Level 4 risk and a 9/10 tornado risk. This is probably going to be a mess of a storm.
Keep your phones charged, put new batteries in the flashlights, get out the candles, whatever.. Get prepared now. You've got a couple hours before it hits.
There have been a bunch of complaints about these police/fire "I heard sirens" or "what happened/what's happening" posts.
Putting a poll to the masses to decide how these should be handled moving forward. Personally I think there are way better venues for these sort of questions and don't see the value here unless it's something city-wide significant, like a major fire or some kind of newsworthy police action, but 🤷♂️
Vote away. If the majority want these posts to be moderated moving forward we certainly can.
Getting this error ever since 2025.45.5 installed on my car. UI_a020 error saying
Steering assist reduced. Steering my require increased effort.
When I pooped into Service Mode, I see these three errors in service alerts:
UI_a020_SteeringReduced EPAS3P_a154_assistTorqueDisabled VCRIGHT_a118_VCFRONT_MIA
Tried a reboot but errors didn't clear. Thoughts? I haven't seen anyone else mentioning it so guessing it's not the update that did it.
Title has the question. I have had the Citi AA Exec card for a few years now, but canceled due to not wanting to eat the fee and planning on less travel next year. My question is -- when do my benefits (lounge access, free checked bag) expire? Will that show up immediately or does it last thru the end of the year or something?
I've been on a Deftones kick the last couple of months since they released their most recent album and decided I wanted to learn/play some songs.. Got a pretty sweet deal on a 8 string LTD SC-608B. This is my first extended range guitar so wasn't sure how it would work with my existing equipment, but it seems my concerns may have been justified.
I live in a relatively small house (1100 sqft or so) and don't want to blare out the neighbors or not be able to play during the evening. With my existing guitars (strat and les paul) I plug into an Orange Rocker set to the 0.5 watt output normally. This new guitar sounds like butts and ass. I flipped it over to the full 15W output and it sti
Had a canceled flight and rebooked a new flight with the desk in the admirals club. Paid $22 for 13F which was coded WP+ (I think that's what it said) thinking it would come with a comp beverage but FA advised it was not PE.
FA made it right (I didn't argue.. pulled my card out and he refused) but I'm curious if I was mistaken or they were. I lean towards me being wrong, but I'm not sure why I would've had to pay at the desk if I wasn't changing classes.
Stealing this from r/asheville as I think it's a fair compromise.
Moving forward, any posts made to this sub about this sort of thing that do not have substantive evidence and specific details of the situation attached to them will be removed.
I understand people are on edge right now but all of this "ICE IS HERE ICE IS THERE" with no substance is not helpful and only serves to get people excited, potentially over nothing.
Any ideas? I've rinsed the infuser with warm water, soaked in warm water, soaked in warm water with some mild soap... so not sure it's the actual infuser that's having a problem here but I can't think of anything else..
Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix?

Had an electrician out to install an EV charger. I do not park in the garage (currently) so he suggested running the cable through the wall like this so I could get it connected to the car in the driveway.
Essentially, looking for some ideas on how to make this look a little tidier and somewhat sealed to keep bugs/etc.. out while still allowing the ability to have cables run through it. Maybe some sort of wall plate? I thought about spray foam but I'd like to have the ability to run/remove the yellow drop cord as needed.. It's only out there right now to power a trickle charger for another car's battery.
I know not
Basically title...
Google just sent a notification out that they're discontinuing support for the 1st and 2nd gen Nest Learning thermostats and included a coupon code to buy a the newer G4 model for $150 instead of the $280 MSRP.
Now's as good a time as any, so I guess my question here is... Is the G4 decent, or should I take this opportunity to look more towards an Ecobee or something? That discount does seem like a pretty decently okay deal I guess but I know nothing about the G4 Nest
Hey all! Hopefully this is the right place to ask but had some questions about getting EVSE installed at my house...
First, my house (in downstate IL) currently has a 65A main (which implies 65A service I guess?) so I'm unable to install my Tesla Wall Connector without doing some major work to the electric service.
I had a contractor out and was quoted $4200 to move my service (from the pole) from my house to my garage, install a 200A panel out there, install the EVSE (60A), and trench to re-feed the existing panel in my house house via a 100A breaker.. At least, that's my understanding of the quote. The plan would be to mount the EVSE to the outside wall of my garage (for now) so I
Locked out of 3 text groups because it's "verifying" my number despite RCS having worked fine for months on this phone..
Anyone else having problems? I talked to a buddy with an iPhone who said it was working fine
