Honest question from a black dude. Is colorism such a major problem amongst brown and dark-skinned black women that so many experience it? I've personally never experienced it myself, but I've indirectly lived it through my sister. She's a tall, skinny dark-skinned girl who always wore her natural hair. She had a lot of other interests too, but for some reason everyone would comment on how she looked. They would make fun of her hair, her skin, they'd make fun of her for being tall, they called her ugly (and she's nowhere near ugly honestly) and I even got shat on for even being related to her. Since we all have more time on our hands thanks to this whole corona situation, I've really had more time to reflect on my life, and honestly, I'm not really happy with where I am right now. I'm turning 20 this year, and I'm not in college/uni (for family related reasons), I don't know how to drive, and unfortunately being around my parents suck. I honestly want to do more with my life, but I absolutely have no clue where to start. I have a job so that's a plus, but I don't really know what else to do with myself beyond that. I really just want to get this off my chest. A few days ago, Battle Version 2.1 came out and it was supposed to push players to be more "aggressive" as Bandai said, the only problem with this is that absolutely nothing has changed. Every PvP I've had before and since the update is just people backfloating or sitting at the back of the arena and waiting for you to do something. If you tap, they just float. If you try and go up and tackle, you get punished by a Strike Arts. If you use a Blast Arts, then they just use a Special Move or RR, and this isn't even counting the characters who have counter moves or fish for perfect vanishes.
