Dear __,

It's been more than a year since we drifted apart. I can hardly believe our 20+ years of friendship came to an end over the way you conducted business.

I overlooked the fact that your business model was an MLM because you didn't try to recruit me and because the product just happened to work for me. Its basic structure however doesn't excuse the haphazard way you handled our transaction.

First, you didn't even know what your job description was. Were you just selling me the product, or were you to provide instructions and guidance along the way as well? I was led to believe it was the latter.

You emphasized that the group you joined as a customer was very helpful and instrume

Dear __,

I write to you on a medium you'll most likely never see with hopes that, at the very least, writing this out will bring me some sense of closure.

Ever since we became friends in high school, I've always been both envious of and grateful for you. You have natural charisma that attracts people. You once wished you were "smart" like me, but in truth I was not that smart, and any kind of strengths I possessed were skills that could be obtained with minor effort, while yours were inherent and not easily attained.

Our friendship wasn't always perfect, mostly because I didn't put in as much effort as I should have. No words will ever describe how much you and your family have done

Hi all, I started DS when it only had a handful of characters, and I actually stopped playing when it got more content. Since then I played a bit more to learn about preparing for seasonal changes, but I haven't done any giant kills. I'm trying to play this again with my husband who's even less familiar with the game (knows basic mechanics and that's about it).

I'm looking for DST players who are still learning and don't mind a chill pace of playing -- e.g., patient about taking down bosses and exploring more treacherous places.

Recommendation for Canadian alternative fashion brands

Looking For: Clothing, Accessories & Personal Care 👕💄👜🍁

Hi all, I'm looking for Canadian fashion brands that deal with goth/punk/retro styles.

To give you a brief rundown of where I (used to) shop: Disturbia, Killstar, Dolls Kill circa 2019, Devil Fashion (seems defunct now?), Jawbreakers, Dark in Love, Punk Rave, Re.Style.

And even if they're not really alternative fashion, I'd also appreciate inputs for Canadian brands that carry solid staple pieces that go well with these styles.

Please let me know if you need additional info to point me to the right direction, or if there's another subreddit more fitting.

I've seen "You go back in time as-is. What do you do know" questions on Reddit all the time, and it's always plastered with comments wanting to buy stocks.

But what about your IMMEDIATE life? I worked pretty hard in high school so I could get into my first choice uni. I did really well in Spanish. Now? Jesus christ it always makes me sigh in shame how much I've forgotten. Granted I live in a country where French is the second official language, but there's really no excuse.

Not to mention all the sciency and math stuff like Physics and Calculus... Forget about it. In contrast to what my racial attributes would have you believe, I hated numbers and still do.

As for knowing stuff about the

Hey all, thanks for helping me with my last post. I haven't tried my luck with a bear yet, but I'm less daunted about it!

(Voyageur difficulty below)

I finally found the Milton - Mystery Lake route. I moved most of the important supplies to the Mystery Lake (Camp Office) so I can fish and still remain close to other wildlife. There are some misc stuff left in Milton though, like 10+ books, spare clothes, and a metric fkton of mending cloth.

I understand I'll eventually have to start venturing into more diff

I shot wolves when they got close to me while charging so I could get the closest shot possible, but it always went straight to the struggle. Once it began, I usually had a hunting knife or a hatchet to fight back with.

  1. Is there a window where they become invincible because of the scripted struggle? Or did I just miss?
  2. Iirc the hunting knife bleedout takes 15 min, and I must stay outdoors to avoid resetting. This is 15 min irl, not in-game time?
  3. Somewhat related: are wolf fur pants worth the time and effort? I have the deer hide pants on right now.
  4. Even less related: Has anyone had any success trying to hunt a bear with a revolver? I have a survival bow ready but I have zero ar
