My credit card expired and I was sent a new one with the same number and a new expiration date. The gym i go to and who have been monthly charging my card asked that I bring the new card to their desk rather than just update the date.
I swiped the card in their machine and the attendant claimed something was wrong and asked to see it. When I handed it to her the first thing she did was flip it over and read the CCV number.
This seems like it was a mistake to hand it over. From what I read, you are supposed to request a new card if this happens. Should I do that and should I actually be worried?

I am a claimant in a class action lawsuit against my current employer. The case has been settled for quite some time but I got a recent notice that if I wanted to be included in the settlement, I have to provide detailed information about my time with the company, wrongs I felt were done to me as well as two tax documents with my social security number. Besides handing over this information to a legal group that doesn't really work for me, for who knows what reason I'm worried about the information leaking. My honest answers would not be appreciated by my employer or the people I report to. I have about a month to provide this information or I guess be excluded. Is this a
Is there an alternative to Safelite I should be considering for replacement? I can't think of why a dealer would do better.
Also, my vehicle has the VIN etched under the glass. Will this be gone when the OEM glass is replaced?
Thanks TMobile for playing a building fire alarm sound in your Spotify ad for iPhones. Hearing that in my headphones really gets my attention by making me think I'm about to die. It brings my anxiety level to near 100% and reminds me you are a garbage low-life brand/company.
Would like to avoid crowds and don't want to be near NYC. Looking for suggestions for places that are quiet and have somewhere to walk, hike and/or bike. Within ~1 days drive of North Jersey, PA and NY would be fine. Possibly overnight.
When I turn the dial around the shutter release, the aperture changes at random and seems to respond to me touching the knob rather than actually turning it. The aperture changes randomly in both step size and direction (e.g. if I'm turning the dial right, expecting to stop down, the aperture might jump from 10 down to 6.3 or back up to 16). Seems pretty random. There is nothing obviously physically wrong with the camera. I was wondering:
(1) Is this a known issue or has anyone had similar experience?
(2) Is there any chance there is a way to fix this without sending it out for repair? Like downgrade firmware (I'm using 2.03) or changing a setting?
(3) Has anyone had experience wit
I had a less invested than I probably should have (according to the six months of expenses in reserve rule) plus inherited ~$50k. Like everyone else my stocks and mutual funds are getting beat up pretty badly. I'm still investing income at the normal rate although I'm tempted to pause that for the time being. What should be the strategy for $150K cash?
