Quick review of my time on the Scarlett Lady Miami- Turks/Caico- Bimini
First time on Virgin Voyages so this was a "trial" run to see if I would recommend it to friends and family. Using a scale of 1-5 ( 5 being highest)
Ship design and layout- We enjoyed walking around seeing the way the ceiling and walls curved and flowed with hardly any corners or right angels. Light fixtures and overall lightening were modern and unique Score 5 ROSE
Cabin-. Balcony alone would have generated a 5 score. Unfortunately , as mentioned in other reviews, the bed/mattress is an issue. It was like sleeping on a futon and low to the floor. By the 3rd day my back was “feeling it”. The bathroom wa
we requested an early check in ( 7:30 AM) via email the front desk manager seem agreeable to this request informing me that there may be a charge of $60- which is OK with me. If they get me a room i want to give them a $10 starbucks card as thanks- appropriate??
purchased used at 3000 miles . it comes with the michelin primacy tires. I have noticed that on certain road conditions ( concrete not asphalt) the road noise is pretty loud. I am trying to figure out if it is the tires or the fabric interior sliding roof for the moon roof.
What is this starguard add on the volvo dealership is pushing on to the deal-they say "it is already installed..." they are asking for $995 and got them to give me a $400 discount off. for otd of 595. Is it a glorified tracking devise so the dealership and lenders know where to find the car , if needed? Is the tracking data encrypted to protect my privacy? Any other concerns or benefits you would like to share?
Chat GPT was very non committal- a 2025 buick envison preferred with comfort/convenience package for 34500 ( before taxes). This one we may do a 3 year lease for +/-$400/month OR 2025 Volvo XC40 B5 Plus Bright Theme -2800 miles $38000 (before taxes )- we live in the denver area so cold comfort features are a must. We are undecided cause of the difference in displays and controls. Which one would you choose and why
When i lease a vehicle and the lease is up I return it to the 'owner" which is the dealership . throughout the lease the dealership is the one who owns this car. Therefore if I am not the "owner" why am i being asked to pay for options "already installed" in the car like vin etching and clear coat paint that will be with the car long after I turn it in.( and do they charge the next owner with the same options) I saw that there was added +/- $1200 add on for these two item I presented this argument to the dealership and was told "that just how it is" . Is my logic wrong?
Trying to create a Playbill wall of the shows I have seen. Lots of "playbills" on ebay but many are from road touring shows - i don't want a Hairspray "playbill" from Richmond VA-any suggestions where to go for the authentic Broadway Playbills?
I have tried to access this route that ends up going north past confluence park to end up on the trails by Lowell that will take me towards Stanley lake. Being relatively new to downtown I get complete turned around after I pass Brighton blvd . I know I am suppose to head west but when I try to follow the trail signs somehow I end up past 270
Conspiracy?? With all this behind the scenes software tracking - just wondering- last Tuesday. i was pricing a cruise via CostCo , HAL and Vac to Go. Found a great rate w/add ons - teacher discount- gratuities included, refundable , etc. The next day I went to confirm/deposit and the rate was 10% higher and other add ons gone Now I wonder if by me showing a interest in the rate triggered the pricing software to raise rates due to "high" interest. Is software tracking me? Should i clear browser history and cache to start over again? Anyway- for a March 2026 cruise- are there Fall Specials to look for to try to recapture those lower rates?
Hello- two members of our HOA board are planning on resigning . This is due to the community members not respecting time boundaries and feel we , on the board are available to listen to grievances and complaints at all times, including weekends- via conversations ( walking the dog, working out being in elevator, etc )and/or emails/texts. Our building management team has a 24 hour call. line for all mechanical issues when our PM is not on site.We are strategizing ways to communicate to the owners that this needs to stop. Looking for suggestions on how others established boundaries, in a non passive aggressive way ( that i can do on my own).
